constantly hitting veins

Last Thursday and today were my last 2 pins.

Thursday night I was gonna pin in my left glute and constantly kept hitting veins so i said eff it and went for right delt. same thing happened so went back to right glute.

Monday morning was gonna do my left glute and same thing happened again. wasted 2 pins in my glute and 1 in my right delt until finally got a clean aspirate in my right delt.

anyone have this experience too? was really frustrating

Some people go their whole life not hitting a vein. I can only imagine how frustrating it is/ probably a little bit frightening. Where are you pinning on your glute?

put my thumb on my hip bone. spread hand evenly and dart in area about 2nd knuckle on ring finger. upper outer region of glute if you divided it in 4's i guess if that makes since lol
