    Help please itchy nips

So I'm 2 weeks into test e @ 500/wk and yesterday night I thought my nips were a little extra sensitive, but then the next day they felt normal. Now tonight, the left nip is definitely a little itchy, and although I wouldn't say "puffy" it looks hard as if I was cold. I have been running arimidex @ .25 eod since the end of week 1. What the hell should I do??

Do you, or anybody else think I should also run nolva until it subsides or is that not necessary?

So, at what point WOULD someone throw in the nolva? I will do as you say and increase the ai to .5 eod, but I would just like to know for peace of mind, when would I have to include the nolva?

if your nips start to hurt and or you get tiny lumps then run nolva. Give the adex some time to kick in first.

+1 use nolva if you have lumps...but the adex will be fine to lower the estrogen.

im gyno prone so i have to start with .5mg a day and towards the middle/end of my cycle i still can get itchy nips and i have to up the dose to .5mg ed..

Does itchy nips mean someone is FOR SURE gyno prone?
Or in some cases do the symptoms never exceed the mild things like itchy nips even if the person didn't run an AI? What I'm trying to say, is it common to get slight sides like itchy nips, but never progress to full blown gyno?

im not 100% sure... but i think if you get itchy/sensitive nips it could lead to gyno, if its not treated with an ai or serm. so dont take the chance...

So, I started runiing .5mg arimidex eod today, but now I'm bummed out that I'm gonna pretty much waste my test e cycle running the ai at this dose. Is this true? my cycle pretty much shot with all the estrogen suppression from this dose?

not at all...actually a normal dose.. people start with .25 eod just incase they get no sides, if sides come, they increase to .5eod, and if at that point you need to up it, then .5 ed

it wont kill your estrogen too much...and ill take a little less estrogen over gyno any day. but wont hinder gains too much so dont worry..

I get the same thing, though my method is .25 ed rather than .5eod, same difference I guess.

Don't take the Nolva useless you have a lump. As stated, let your ADEX work its job

Why not just use the nolva instead of using Adex? The novla is a sure fire for the job...

I think I experienced similar symptoms. I had a tingling sensation and what looked like tiny bumps on the areola of the nipple when cold and the nipple itself was pretty stiff. Once warm no bumps and nipple was back to normal.

I looked it up and found this:
    Bumps on areola
If you worry about those 'funny bumps' on the areola, those are supposed to be there; they are called Montgomery glands or areolar skin glands. Their function is partially unknown, but scientists suppose they are there to lubricate the nipple/areola area.

These Montgomery glands can be about unnoticeable, OR stand out as bumps on the areola. They often become more prominent during pregnancy. Also, it appears they are white in some women.

Based on the pictures on the site they are definitely the Montgomery glands that I saw. Since then it's gone but I experience a slight tingle from time to time but no real sensitivity, lumps, or pain. I did not take any serms. I have nolva on hand in case but I don't want to jump the gun. Since this is my first cycle I want to know if I am gyno prone. Currently still no lumps or hard tissue under nipple.

Think I should wait for it to get sore or just start on low dose of nolva?

    So, right after the night I upped my arimidex to .5mg, for the next 2 full days (up untill now) I feel absolutely nothing in my nips, which is AWESOME. Thanks for the advice by the way everyone. My question is, could I lower the dosage back down to .25 eod or stop the AI completely unless I experiences similar sides again? I'm wondering if my sides went away because;

a: I upped the dosage to .5 (but I just just upped it, so I don't think so)

b: The .25 eod finally kicked in, and I maybe don't need .5 eod

c: They would have subsided on their own and I may not need an AI

What does everyone think of all this?

Keep taking it but you could lower it down again after at least a few more days. It takes about 3-5 days for the compound to build up levels in your system. You dont want to yo-yo up and down too much. In a few days lower it back down and keep an eye on it from there.

keep it at .5 eod, if your already got symptoms theres a good chance they will come back if you drop it, dont worry about lowering your estrogen too much, you still got plenty of it

btw a is the correct answer...increasing dosage would start working right away..
