Normal or Test Flu?
Did my first injection 3 days ago (250 mg test E)...im also taking 30mg dbol /day
1. Painful lump...covers a 6 inch area around the injection site
2. Body aches (muscles, bones all hurt and feel weak)
3. Headaches/dizziness
4. When I pee or take a shit, if I "push", the injection site hurts and feels like i'm pressing on it
5. No temperature that i know of, but ill check when i get home
Do I have test flu?
Do I continue with next scheduled injection?

If its warmer then the other areas it might be an infection bro...have you tried taking ibuprofin for the swelling just to see if it helps with the swelling?? I did my first pin on Monday and although it is still sore it is not warm and only bothers me if I press on it or using that muscle...also get some hot compresses as hot as you can stand without burning yourself and apply them to the area, if it isnt to bad this can help with the swelling and if you have a slight infection.

I've read (not sure, i think it might have been marcus who said it) that heat is no good for infection, ice is better for inflammation. I'll see if i can find some ibuprofin.

This quote is from medline...
"Treatment
The goal of treatment is to cure the infection. The doctor may cut and drain the abscess to clean the area and control the infection. Antibiotics are given by mouth to control the infection.
Heat (such as warm compresses) may speed healing, reduce inflammation, and make the area feel better. Raise the affected part to reduce swelling and inflammation."
Here in the ER that I work at we always tell them to put warm compresses on areas that look infected or have an abscess from staff or mrsa.

It comes and goes...right now i'm feeling better, but the same thing happened this morning, then the body aches came back. I was still able to bust out a leg work out, so it doesn't seem to be too bad.

I would! Just dont do it around the same area of course make sure you prep the area real good, dont allow anything to touch the pin or the syringe or your vial and swab everything with alcohol pads. But if it becomes worse and you go to a doctor and they culture it and it does come back as an infection and they prescribe antibiotics you will be $hit out of look cause you will have to stop your cycle! Good luck bro. Just see how your body reacts to it.

First injections into a virgin muscle are going to hurt. They may turn red and feel warm to the touch. That pain puts stress on your body, making life kinda crappy. It was this way for my first few injections. I believe one of my first posts on here was very similar to yours.
Ice is your friend. Ibuprofen helps too. It gets better. Usually if a sore site makes slight improvement everyday you'll probably be ok. I had one infection a couple of years back and there was no improvement, it went downhill and spread within a few days. BTW, I had no fever when I had my infection. Don't only rely on that. I did have pretty bad edema in a large area after several days.
I shoot ED now and some times I still get a bad injection. Not an infection, but perhaps hit a nerve or went through a vein. It will turn red, swell and get sore. But always recover. You'll understand with time.
Bodybuilding IS painful.

Just google imaged that sh!t....good god. Naw, doesn't look discolored or anything.
I was very careful with the injection, I swabbed the top of the vial, swabbed the injection area, didn't let the pin touch anything after uncovering it, and massaged the area with another swab after pulling out.

My first injection went great, perfectly painless!! But later that night, I woke up with my ass on fire! I've been there. If it doesn't make slow steady progress, post back up in a day or two.

Yeah I had my first injection on Monday and it went perfect no pain at all then a little bit later it got a little sore, but when I woke up the next day my leg felt as if someone beat it while I was asleep! lol Even today it feels just as sore but hopefull it goes away before my next pin in that area.

Same here...didn't feel any pain until the next day.
The only thing that I messed up on was holding the pin steady. I couldn't reach with the second hand, so i did it one handed and tried to go slow. When i pulled out a drop of blood trickled out, nothing major, but i knew to expect pain due to the pin moving.

Update: Body aches are gone. I feel fine except for the pain/swelling in the glute. It is warm to the touch and I can actually see some swelling go as far as halfway down the side of my leg. I iced it last night, which seemed to help.

Update: Swelling has gone down, it's no longer going down the side of my leg. The lump is still there along with the pain. Also, I noticed some bruising starting to form at the injection site (about the size of a quarter). Tomorrow will be one week from the injection.
The other glute (from last wed injection) is fine, other than the pain in the lower back/upper hip area.

BUDDY no offence to who ever the **** told you that but they have NO CLUE what they are talking about HEAT will draw the infection out you need to go to the doctor ASAP your immune system is ****ed from the dbol if it is an infection you risk getting MRSA if you get MRSA while on juice kiss your life good bye and thats NO JOKE. No one here has an education higher than univ and none of these people are DRs great site to ask advice about stacks on but when it comes to your health hit up a doc TAKE MY WORD FOR IT you do NOT want to **** around with infections.

Who said he has an infection? If every AAS user ran to the DR every time they had a painful injection none of us would ever have any money for gear.
He's working on managing the pain from first time intramuscular injections. It's one of the more common inquiries on this board. Search and see for yourself. Posting up is good so that experienced members can help him deal with it and help identify if it's out of the ordinary.
Your knee jerk reaction=not good.

Thanks for looking out....don't think it's an infection though. The initial body aches are gone (was only the first couple days) and it's just a lump now. Even the swelling has gone down. I was doing a lot of reading on this site and there are many similar cases to mine. Searching and reading the symptoms along with what ended up being the case was extremely helpful, so I'm happy they posted.
I have a few Dr's in my family. Dr's (especially ER) won't necessarily have experience with AAS and they will be quick to do all the "just in case" procedures that aren't always necessary.

Is this your first ever cycle and/or first shot in that particular muscle?
I know my first shot in each quad hurt like a bitch for a few day afterwards. Especially my left quad. I though something was seriously wrong, i couldn't walk or even touch it without feeling pain.
But after the first shots were out of the way it has been all good. Now on my second cycle, no problems with pain during or after injection.
As for test flu, it could be if this is your first time. Although I think test flu from test e may be less likely since it is released slowly into your system, instead of a sudden jolt like test prop. Thats my thought, although true vets could provide a better opinion.
