    swollen kidney

hey i cut my cycle short about a week ago and my left kidney is swelling up through the day off and on. when i stand it will swell and my lower back will tighten and i will have to sit. I am getting scared that i really messed myself up. I am urinating fine and there is no blood in it. I made a doctor appt for next week but i am nervous. i have been drinking alot of water and cranberry juice hoping that it will stop. i was taking 500mg sust wk and 30mg dbol day before i stopped. Any idea what it going on her or what is wrong? any help would be appreciated

What are your stats? Age? etc.
How many cycles have you run?
Are you on any other meds? Have any medical conditions??
How long had you been taking the d-bol?

How do you know its your kidney?

For some reason I`m doubting your assessment that it is your kidney. Sounds like possible back pumps caused by the dbol .

good man for making your dr appoint, might be your kidney, but then again mate it might not! Your drinking plenty of fluids and on the cranberry which is a great anti-ox.

Best thing is what you have done, but can you pull your appoint closer? That way it will ease your mind either way bro.But its a good sign with no blood and if its not stinging

How long did you run your cycle before it stopped? It could be due to a lot of things... might not even have to do with the cycle itself. If you are consuming a lot more water than usual because of your cycle this could be stressing your kidney out. You could also be developing a stone of some sort that is occluding flow from your left kidney causeing it to swell. It makes since that you are still urinating because I am assuming your right one is still working. This could be due to adding something to your diet in larger quantities that before (calcium, phosphorous, etc.) You could also have an infection causing inflammation. You did the right thing by making a dr apt, but if you have severe flank pain on your left side I would suggest going to the ER.
    best of luck

iim pretty sure its my kidney i hav not taken any dbol in over a week and usually the back pumps go away as soon as i stop dbol. this isnt going away and i have a bad feeling.
    age 30
    weight 240lbs
    bf 15%
    cycle ex 7 years
    no med conditions
    i take suboxone 8md day
i was taking the dbol for about 8 weeks before i stopped a little over a week ago
i was thinking maybe the suboxone might have made things worse when added to the dbol and put extra strain on the kidneys. i was mowing the lawn the other day and it got so achy n tight i had to stop and i felt the area and it was numb

Has anyone had back pumps on one side before? I have always had them bilaterally, so that's why I didn't think it would be due to back pumps.

Descibe your urine. I am assuming you are on the subox for narcotic addiction? Were you taking oral narcotics?? If so most of them contain tylenol/aspirin which in excess can cause kidney problems?

How much protein are you taking in?
