Nerve damage from bicep shot?
Man I posted about my arm going limp after a bicep shot yesterday morning. Well my bicep still wont flex to full. Its like the inner right bicep is flexing at 60 or 70 percent. Most people that have posted on this topic refer to gettting numb. My arm isnt nor never was numb. I have lost actual motor control of the inner bicep. No insurance right now so I am realy dreading a hospital visit.
Has anyone had this happen?
Has anyone known someone who had this response?

sounds like something more serious than just hitting a nerve...i would go to the doc like matt said and get a professional opinion because if you keep training you could do some permanent damage...it may be nothing or it may make you cut your cycle prematurely, but you will be glad u went either way. (hopefully the former!)

This is normally something that I hear occurring in the thigh area.
It wouldn't be uncalled for to hit a nerve in the bicep, so it's possible.
Give it a few days, if it doesn't feel better or gets any worse, go get it checked out.

XBiker.. I hit them in my thigh almost everytime... gets sort of old. Never had it go limp or anything tho Andy, so I'd go get that checked out asap, not worth risking it.

I went and saw a friend of mine, mostly for 2 reasons.
Have no insurance and Im broke from school
Was too chicken shit to tell a doc how I did it.
here is the scoop though.
He is actually a very good doc.
I have a friend of mine who is a doctor I went to see him
He told me that I not only hit the vein,. but injected more than likely into the nerve.
He stated to let it heal on its own. He also researched this very heavily and I do want everyone to know whats up.
A.) If you hit a nerve just right then some forms of nerve damage have been know to take over a year to fully get 100% back.
b. )Most do not last for more than 6 months however.
c. )There are/have been cases of people doing this and severely injuring some nerves. ( by actual doctors and nurses)
d. )To date there is wide dispute on whos fault it is when nerves are hit by doctors. Most believe that docs are not to blame that some nerves are just impossible (makes sense to me ) but but but... Many people say that docs who hit nerves are undertrained and should be sued (even good doctors say this )
E. ) Oh well just thought I would share what I have learned.
BOTTOM LINE ...
If you inject into a site and feel sharp pain while injecting its not the oil.
PULL OUT RE DO THE DAYUM THING TRUST ME LoL.
This is however really really rare to do what I did apparently.
By the way my arm is now fully healed. I have regained 100% size to my arm again. Wheeeew!
If you ever do inject into a nerve
1. Relax Dont freak -- I DID
2. Take it like a man, you dont have a choice -- I TOOK IT LIKE A PSYCHO BIOTCH
3. Give it a few days for sure before strenuous workout, as I am sure that my biceps day aggravated it more. Yes Im stoopid ...
4. It will come back sooner or later
Sorry I never got back here guys, nice to know you all care 0000 I think Im gonna shed a tear 000 Ok Im not but thanks for the lookout nevertheless Let me know if you had any more qs about it but I think that raps up this thread
