pct for women..??
ok i'm havin sum issues being off cycle then on... on cycle i feel great.. oddly enough.. clear skin. my acne is the only real issue i have... i kno its from my hormones... but im wondering if pct is sumthing i should seriously consider.
this is sumthing another woman wrote on a different site :
"I feel PCT should be considered due to these reasons:
1. Depression: MANY women report depression post cycle. I personally got it really really badly last nov, so now the last week of my cycle, i start cycling in 5HTP. You can also use St. Johns wart or valerian root etc...
2.estrogen Rebound: Granted anavar is a mild androgenic , it is still an androgen. Some women experience a slight estrogen rebound. I personally have ALSO experienced this...
One of the ways i counteract it is to take "Twinlabs Male Fuel". This actually aids allowing my test levels to lower but not drop, thus preventing an estrogen rebound. When a hormone drops suddenly another one always tends to increase to counteract, even though it may not be beneficial to us...
Another way is to use a very very mild dosage of an estrogen suppressor (ie. nolvadex ) to allow the estrogen to slowly level out as the test levels fall post cycle. (As our test levels begin to return to normal and decrease, estrogen will increase post cycle, due to the fact that an aas does suppress estrogen levels a bit, so a suppressor will control the speed at which it increases- thus preventing a possible estrogen rebound!)
3.Appetite: Most AAS tend to increase your appetite. This has a bit to do with an accelerated metabolism (increased muscle and protein synthesis), nevertheless, aas can increase appetite. With that said, I think a strict diet should follow your cycle.
My reasoning for this is that fact that since you have an increased appetite from using an aas, now that that is over, you will continue to experience an increased appetite, but with no aas anymore. Basically saying that now that you are OFF, you will not be using all the calories/fuel as efficiently as when you were ON. So if you splurge like crazy, you WILL notice a rebound in weight and or fat. Get it
I HIGHLY recommend a clean diet for about 2 weeks POST cycle!!"
i do believe in the estrogen rebound.. oddly enough after my 1st cycle.. i got ( sry guys...) my period regularly, when as b4 i would never get it. but now i break out too ( sumthin i usually get b4 that time of the month)
so im wondering .. could i use sumthing like hcg to control my estrogen after a cycle? i kno it also helps women lose weight.. so its it'd be like a double bonus.
im gonna talk 2 my doc about it too.. just wanted sum opinions.... thoughts.. suggestions...

Women are stocked to the T with estrogen. It's complete rubbish when people claim they need PCT's.
A women's menstrual cycle will undoubtedly do things it wouldn't normally do when one introduces different concoctions of hormones into the body. If you're having issues with regular periods then talk to your doctor about birth control. It's simple and effective. Hell you're in Canada, just walk to the store and buy some OTC. lol.
Menstruation can often stop for women while on cycle. Hell even contest dieting will leave many female competitors period-less (so to say) for weeks or months at a time.
Regarding the acne, well thats regular as well. And should be expected from using AAS, whether male or female. Get some Benzalcin and apply regularly while on cycle, and for 2 - 3 weeks "off" cycle, to help keep skin dry and clear.
Taking supplements after a cycle to help with mood, etc is a completely valid idea; however, I greatly oppose women using breast cancer medication, no matter how small the dose, to aid with their "PCT"
