according to the red cross waiver you cant donate blood if you have injected anything in the last 6 months or so though.

Stevey - i suspect theyre referring to intravenous drug users.
I dont personally see the difference between having the doctor inject you with a flu vaccine or shooting some aas in your backside.
Could be wrong here but id take the blood of a aas user over a clean intravenous drug users blood anyday!

Under what circumstances can I not give blood?
You can never give blood if:
* You are HIV positive
* You have hepatitis C
* You have ever injected yourself or been injected with drugs not prescribed by a doctor or dentist
(even if this was only once)
You will not be able to give blood if, in the past 12 months, you have/or had:
* Sex with another man, even ‘safer sex’ using a condom (if you are a man)
* Sex with a man who has had sex with another man (if you are a woman)
* A partner who has HIV, hepatitis B or hepatitis C
* A partner who has ever injected themselves with drugs not prescribed by a doctor or dentist
* Sex with a male or female sex worker
* A blood transfusion
* Hepatitis or been in contact with hepatitis
* Been in prison
* Sex with anyone who lives in, or has come from, a country considered to have a high rate of HIV infection.

When my work had a blood drive I donated thinking I was doing my civic duty, helping people.
About a week later I started feeling not so well. I was working out 5-6 days a week for almost 3 years. I was in great shape but LEAN because I did not know how to eat, only 165 lbs but in less than 2 more weeks I was down to 125lbs.
I got Hepititus B from DONATING blood. 3 years after recovery I remembered commenting on the guy taking the blood NOT changing his gloves between people.... NICE...
My doctor said he had never seen anyone with blood levels as bad as mine live and if it was not for the good shape I was in, still drinking Amino acids and taking my vit I would not have lived...
I really never fully recuperated 100% and believe that is what killed my Test levels but didnt figure that out for another 20 years.

Hrm... that sort of sucks a bit stevey.
Honestly I can see where they are coming from but if its something like sust 250 which you can get from a doctor this should be fine. I dont know how things like tren may go but that sort of sucks.
