is it ok to use anavar while cruising?
If I cruise on 200mg of test, can I add a mild dose of anavar like 50mg to it? Or would that be a waste?

If you respond at that dosage and your BF isn't excessive it won't be.

so it's possible to cruise with 200mg test and 50mg anavar for 10 weeks before a blast? It won't make the blast less effective?

Although I don't condone the use of cruises or bridges but assuming your blast will involve dosages higher than your cruise then no the effectiveness will not be hindered.

Personally I'd like to see you add the Anavar in weeks 3-10 or 6-10. 10 weeks is too long to run Anavar. It's okay for the test, but 6-8 weeks is typical protocol for Anavar.
Guys see good results with as little as 40mg/day running just Anavar. I'd say at 50 you should see them too. 80-100 is the sweet spot for most guys, anything over and you're just wasting money. Since you're stacking with test I'd say run 40-50 as stated above.

1) 50mg is a standard dose of Var IMO. 20-30mg would be mild.
2) The whole point of a cruise (the type I'm thinking of) is to allow your body to recover from the stress of cycling and get your cholesterol back in check. So you're gonna go and rape your cholesterol for your entire cruise? It doesn't sound wise to me.

ok I have gotten completely mixed opinions here. Cholesterol aside, would adding 50mg var for 6-7 weeks in the middle of a cruise help me continue to make gains or will it mostly just serve as a way to not lose gains?

It probably won't help much in the long run. Whatever you keep/gain during your cruise will just be that much less that you gain on your blast. This is the reason we cycle; because you can only gain so much weight in a given year or whatever. Myostatin and other factors won't allow you to keep gaining muscle indefinitely.
Like I've already said, I think it would be a waste of an expensive AAS and quite unhealthy.

I would say that it will allow you to make gains in strength and keep them. That is one of the best things about Anavar . You aren't going to gain a lot of mass with it, that's not its forte. It will tend to cut you up and make your muscles look harder.
However, the advice given about cholesterol is dead on right. This is one thing that Anavar can affect, especially your HDL, LDL balance. Running like this I'd really recommend you get some blood work done every month or so to be safe.
