Newbie 1st Post
Hi im 24 5'7" 160lbs. I used to work out alot then was in a bad car accident and recently started hitting the gym again. My brother and several friends have done steroids but I hear conflicting things. So what better place than here to get expert advice. I have never used steroids but would like to see what the rave is all about. I would like a "modest" first cycle and am happy with one of the novice cycles. I have a few questions though
-Would I be able to swap the Cypionate or Enanthate for Testosterone -Propionate ? As thats what I believe I have access to.
-Will the dosage listed in "novice cycle 1" be correct for me? If not Then how much should I take?
The PCT start times listed for Propionate is 3 days and deca is 21 days.
-So when is good time to start taking Nlovadex for the PCT process and will 20mg be sufficent for me?
Just trying to do this right and keep maximium results. I have been reading and doing alot of research but is so confusing with all these terms chemicals, compunds, suppliments, counter this blocker that etc. Any help would be greatly appriected

You have much to learn. And I guarantee you can add another 10lbs to your weight naturally.
Exe 10mg EOD if needed control bloat and Gyno
Dex 0.5mg EOD if needed to control bloat and Gyno
Nolva 10mg ED if needed to control bloat and Gyno
I suggest you read up a bit more. All the questions you asked could have been answered in the stickies.

Where is your bodyfat at? Diet? If you just began hitting the weights again (how long was this break?) you may want to wait a bit longer to recover before diving into AAS. You can build your base back up some and likely see better results with less chance of injury.
To answer some of your questions:
- Test is test is test. Prop would work fine, but be aware of the different injection schedule, wait to pct, kick-in time, etc. Prop can be painful (or not), and that combined with the frequent injections is why long esters are usually recommended to first timers.
- 400mg/wk test is a fine starter dosage/cycle. 500 is fine too. We usually recommend test alone for a first cycle. With the longer esters (cypionate and enanthate to name a couple) a certain amount is ester weight, making them a little less powerful than prop, for example. So 350mg prop might be just as much actual test as 400 cyp.
- Nolva only is a weak PCT. As you see the pct start times vary given the ester of the substance (decanoate is a long ester-- even longer than cypionate).
Of course, don't forget your AI's and whatever, and always have everything you could possibly need in hand before beginning anything. You still have a little reading and research to do, but you're off to a good start.

Thank You both for the promt respone. I do realize I have more reading to do it's all very hard to understand with abbreviations and the "lingo" is tough to understand.
ErnstHatAngst I think a test only at first is probably a good idea. I haven't been lifting in a year or so when I did I was about 150 and went up to 174lbs. but had the hot dog arms just bulky no cut or definition what so ever. I then did circuit traing dropped all the way back to 150lbs but was a more fit 150 at about 12%BF.
So basicly 400mg per wk for 12 wks of testosterone alone is sufficent to start.
Now for the PCT HawaiianPride. you say 20mg of Nolvadex is not enough
-what what you recommend as a dosage 50mg? Or what else in addition or in its place?
-What do you reccomend for the PCT substances, start time, and duration?

I highly recommend checking out Swifto's thread there. That guy definitely does his homework!
Given that you've been out for a year and have previously achieved a higher weight I'd advise holding off for a bit and continuing your research while tearing up the gym! A little diet help from the gurus in the diet forum might be in order to keep you gaining without ending up with "hot dog arms".

Sorry if I forgot to mention more details.When was 174 I got a personal trainer who taught me alot about different exercise methods for different results and diet tips that's how I got back to 150 it was a few months after that I was in the car wreck.
I know how long it takes and how hard it is to get results it's definately not easy or everyone would do it. I just wanted a little boost to get me back up to where I want to be, im 160lbs now but a little soft in the core ~20% give or take lol. How long would you suggest waiting before testosterone injections?

We would never really recommend cycling over 15% because it can really aggravate potential negative side effects. One thing to consider. Just take the time you need to do this right and fully understand the ins and outs, and weigh the choices you have before you. Rome wasn't built in a day. I know firsthand how frustrating it is coming back from an injury where you watched all your hard work slowly disappear. Right now you really just need to get back in shape, keep reading, and then make your choice. I'd get started with a diet plan and go from there.
