    are whole eggs safe to eat on cycle?

    So wasup, anyways now i know eggs are considered one of the staple foods of bodybuilding, but theres one problem i've always had with eggs... They're ridiciously high in cholesterol.... Now i know that being on steroids will make the bad cholesterol go up quite a bit and the good go down, so I'm wondering if eggs are a safe food on cycle.

    Sry if this belongs in the diet section, I'm not sure though because its a question that has to do with cycling.

    Absolutely safe, if you are that concerned remove the yokes and have whites only.

    My Bio-chem proffessor (genius) told us that just because there is a high amount of cholesterol in certain foods...it does not follow that your body will convert it into cholesterol. The biggest factors in determining whether or not you are at risk for high lipid levels are genetics and bodyfat.

    Look at a few logs and I would be willing to bet at least 60% of people on cycle are eating eggs/whites

    I wouldn't eat lots of them personally. I put one whole egg in with about 6 whites.

    Yea I eat two whole eggs with my whites every day, even on a cut diet.

    Exactly. Eggs are safe especially if you're just eating 2-3 whole ones.

    Agree with Wormwood; eating a lot of cholesterol does not automatically mean your cholesterol levels will increase. Your cholesterol levels almost completely depend on your genetics and overall health. Eggs are great, and the yolks are easy and tasty calories

    Just ate my Pro/fat meal : 5 hard boiled whole eggs.
    35g protein, 25g fat , 400kcals. PERFECT

    I'm over the great egg debate. Eggs are some of the best food a human can eat. I say eat away. You can even eat some yolks,,maybe just in moderation if you still concerned.

    Eggs are great. Every day I eat atleast 18 egg whites with 3-4 yolks and my lipids are great . Just got them back yesterday.

    You can eat 100 eggs a day as long as you dont eat carbs w them which causes insulin spikes which triggers bodys own release of cholesterol.LDL levels can actually improve on keto diets so eat all the red meat and eggs you want.

    That's right. Meal with over 5 eggs has not place for carbs, or fat gain will occur.

    But hes asking if something that raises your cholesterol is okay with steroids . Just like someone asking if drinking alcohol is okay. Typical newb question. Good for him for bein concerned.

    To the OP, I eat 2 to 5 eggs every day including the yolks. Lots of studies have shown that the yolk is where most of the good stuff is and if you are eating healthy like a bodybuilder should (I eat oats with my eggs which are known for dropping cholesterol, not because I'm worried about it but I like oats) then you should be just fine. Good source of Omega3s if you get eggs made by chickens who were fed algee as part of their diet.

    I also drink a ton of whole milk.

    i put 6 whole eggs in my protien shake in the morning then 4 after dinner and my levels are fine.
