Rookie. Needs advice!
Hey everyone, this is my first post on the forum.
I am 20 years old and I have been training naturally for the past 2 years and I feel as if i have plateaued. I have been trying to as much research as I can and I found the site to be rather helpful. However since I lack a lot of knowledge on the subject, At the moment I am unsure of what type of steroid would be best suited for my goals. I am trying to put on more lean muscle and retain less water, considering the fact I am still rather young I would like to be on something that does not effect my hormonal system that badly.
Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks a lot,
Mister Moose

In humans your Endocrine system is not fully functional until an average age of 25yrs, although the main development is up to around 21yrs it still fluctuates a little bit up to its fully functional age. There is a risk of permanently damaging your HPTA if you take AAS to young and you could end up with symptoms of andropause and HRT for life. Symptoms could be Limp dick, low libido, depression, low energy, low endurance, erection problems and many more but.......are these the types of symptoms you want to have in your 20's?. Believe me its hard to cope with these in your 40's yet alone in your prime of your life.

What are all your stats?
Just to let you know steroid advice is not normally given to people in your age range. The reason being that you put your health at a potential risk when your endocrine system is not fully functional, growth plates may not have fused etc

A whole 2 years, huh? I promise you haven't plateaud after 2 years of working out. If you want to retain less water, drink more water. You probably aren't drinking enough. If you want to put on lean muscle, I suggest you head over to the diet section and work on that. 98% of the time when someone reaches their "plateau" it's usually a diet problem.

Wait until your 25 atleast, take it from me. I did my first cycle at 19 then a year later did another.. I know I screwed up my body because i wasn't ready.
but if you still need help, post your stats, and goals.

I haven't plateaued after two solid years of lifting at 32. There's no way you've done it in two years at 20.
The problem is either diet or training related, and probably both, though diet is the area least understood by young guys IMO. Let's get those two things on track and talk about some useful supplements. I promise you the results will be fast and impressive, to the point where people may think you are on steroids . The difference is you'll be safe with no long term health problems.

Thanks guys i guess its best to stay away, btw deen you can go ahead an suck a fat one bro. Its a forum, people come here when they need advice there is no need to be a cock sucker.
And heres a brief history of my background, about 4 years ago I was sitting at 250, i started dieting and doing strictly cardio and dropped down to 165-170. About 2 years ago i really started to train weights hard and gained about 30 pounds since then, I'm not saying im unhappy with my size but I just want more. More size, To be more lean and cut.
and as far as Stats go.
height 5'11
weight 205(night time) about an even 2 in the morning
As far as BMI goes my gym doesn't offer a machine to read it
Training schedule is roughly
5 on 2 off
2 muscles a day
carido 2-3 times a week for 15-20 mins (I hate cardio)
Diet is very routine and goes as fallows:
Morning 7 eggs hard boiled (whites only)
3 strips of turkey bacon
2 pieces of flax seed bread
1-2 hours later
Almond butter sandwich with skim milk
1-1.5 hours later
Chilli made with lean ground beef
Lunch
Chicken breast or roast beef, and baked sweet potato
2 hours later
Vegetables fruits, and cottage cheese.
Dinner
Usually fish, chicken, steak something along those lines served withrice
Post work out
Egg whites milk and Cottage cheese
and as well i do drink about 8 glass of water a day, i bring a big jug to work every day.
thanks for the help guys!! I'm not one to pass on any advice available, so greatly appreciate all the responses!

Not BMI! BMI won't tell you anything, it's a useless measuring standard for people who lift. We have too much muscle mass for the scale and will almost always read as overweight or obese. I saw a chart with the BMI for like thirty Olympic level athletes, both men and women. All were overweight or obese by BMI standards. These people are elite athletes with very low body fat, get real!
What you want is Body Fat Percentage (BF%). There are a couple ways to get it measured. Skinfold calipers are probably the most common, but not terribly accurate (+/- 5%). The Bod Pod and water immersion are the two best ways with an accuracy of +/- about 1-2%. An average man is usually about 13-17%, but elite athletes and BBs can be as low as 6-4%, over some BBS even lower at contest times. Most guys looked pretty ripped at 8-10%.
Your diet isn't terrible. I'd add a protein shake before bed with caesin. Without knowing the macros and calorie count it's hard to really tell how good a diet is. Make sure to eat 1.5gms protein per lb. of body weight a day and get enough carbs to fuel your workout (probably 300gms on average). Fat at 80-100gms with very little saturated.
If you want to get leaner you need to learn to love cardio, because that's what's needed. Losing weight is easy, losing body fat without losing muscle is hard. I'd up the cardio to an hour each time, and shoot for 3 times a week. If you're running do that gradually over a month or two or you can really burn yourself out.
Mass wise, what's your current weight training regimen?
What supplements are you taking?

people who lift face what you're going through all the time. Several times i've got to a point that i was stuck at for a few weeks so at that point I went back to the drawning board changed things up and broke through. Bodybuilding is nothing but a series of plateu's you just have to work hard and work smart to bust through them
