They do want it, but sex for a woman is a different set of enviromental/emotional responses than it is for a man. Men, in general, do not need to feel as much of an emotional attachment, and have no need in worrying about enviromental factors such as a romantic dinner or candle lit room. Women, in general, respond to things like flirting, or taking time to make their day easier. My wife tells me, and I believe she has a valid point, it's hard to be a full time Mom and when the kids go to bed instantly turn into a sex fiend. Between being tired, and having to switch gears from one to the other, it can be difficult. For us, sex comes from me helping with the kids, taking out the garbage, cooking a meal for the family now and then, and other little things that make it easier for her to relax. Also, those things let her know that I care about her and respect the fact that she has a tough job. Another thing for a woman is security/protection. Women like to feel like they can depend on a their spouse for security and one of the ways that is shown is by spending time with the family and letting her know that their well being is first in my life. The stronger the emotional connection between and husband and wife, the better the sex life will be. Don't ever quit flirting with your wife, little things make all the difference in the world.

Now with all that said there are two other things that have to be considered. One is that 40% of women report having sexual disfunction in that they cannot achieve climax through sex (penetration). If you are unlucky enough to have married one of those women, as I once was, get some good internet protection for your computer because you will be surfing alot of internet porn. My ex-wife, and she was a good woman, was just not into sex. She liked everything but, however when it came to the actual sex, she could live or live without it. BTW, true story, my wife has a social club function tom and she had to bake 8 caramel cakes tonight. I stayed up with her and made the icing for the cakes (yes from scratch).
