injecting B12 with insulin needle
would there be anything wrong with injecting B12 into the delts with a slin needle? would the needle be to short or would that be fine to do? not currently on a cycle and dont really want to use a 1" everytime just for B12.

Just curious why you're injecting B12? Also, are you injecting into the muscle or fat?
-
i think you can use 5/8"

just for its energy benefits and appetite increase, previously i had been injecting sub Q but found that i can feel the results better when done in muscle, does the answer mainly concern how much fat you have to get through to the muscle?

you can use whichever needle is long enough the reach into the muscle, which yes, is based on how much skin and sub q fat is in between

How much does B12 really increase the appetite by? Perhaps I'll have to add this to my next cycle. Any reason why you chose to inject it rather than take the pills?

pills u only absorb 10 % i hear, i also just got b12 and 1.5 needles. to big gonna get smaller like 1 inch. what doses are u going to do im unsure of how much to take myself. im also not on a cycle, just want the energy pharm. didnt say much,

yeah most all of the B12 is not absorbed because of the breakdown with stomach acids, so injection is the best way to get it into your system, i wouldnt really say its a massive increase in appetite, some might say they notice others say differently, i notice that i am hungry more often that i have been on taking it though. i usually inject 1ML of a B Complex which has 1000mcg of B12 and some amount of B6 and other B vitamins, but i typically inject that twice a week and i definitely notice an energy increase, saves money from buying energy drinks or caffeine pills

Are those IM injections? Does the B12 have to be sterilized or does it come sterilized?

as for your question using a slin in your delt would be fine..but depending on your body fat it was still be subq-ish, since you said you prefer it IM i'd use a 5/8incher..there pretty small and will go IM for a delt

i had lost my appetite completely, helped me with appetite bigtime. nothing really intense as far as energy. usually inject first thing in the a.m. days that I do I have to constantly kick up the pace on cardio to keep my heart rate up. I take straight b12 (cyanocobalamine) @1000mcg every other day intramuscular either delt or glute I have a ton of 23ga x 1.5in pins so that's what I use for both of course in the delt I don't go all the way in with it.

I do B12 mixed with Vitamin C in a slin needle. Would love to hear any other testimonies on instramuscular versus sub q injection

i can't tell a diff with b12 between IM or sub q as far as feeling any effects...but insulin pins are cheaper than larger syringes, and with sub q i don't worry about nerves or blood vessels...tinier scar as well

main reason I do IM is the stuff i have is 1000mcg/ml figured it would leave a lump if I injected 1ml subq. wouldn't IM absorb a lot quicker??

IMO the potential risk is always present no matter how careful one is for infection and abcesses. With that said I would not create additional opportunity for this to happen IM just for a B-12 shot.Sub-q is sufficient for inject protocol..once again IMO.

I inject b12 sub q and there's never a lump.
-

yeah i never get a lump with b12 even with a ml, IM might be slightly quicker but nothing that would make a noticable difference. i'd just go go sub-q its alot easier
-
11-10-2010, 09:14 AM #24fat is passive, muscle is active, so i don't like to jab muscle unless it's really needed...although, b12 shots IM make for good IM practice.

I have got a lump in the past. When Injecting sub-q in stomach. I just massage it in and its gone

yeah it just all comes down to preference when it comes to sub q and IM, i found i noticed a little different injecting IM, when i injected sub q i felt it sting a little more and left a pretty big lump, you can just rub it out though, for how cheap it is i mean why not play around with it and see if you like it, if anything you can just cut other compounds with it during cycles
