Sex and recovery
Ok, i got a question that i have wondered about for a while
is sex good for building muscle and recovering or bad.
i mean after sex i am spent and it seems i get super sore like all protein has left my body/lol literally
anyway i think on one hand prob does well for test levels - on the other... i once read you have to eat a dozen eggs and a new york strip to recover the protein lost after sex.
not sure if that's true and either way it doesn't effect my decision for sex as i can hardly make day to day without
anyway does everyone else get totally shot and every muscle sore for days after sex or am i just having to big of a happy ending or something

Hahahahaha, what positions are you doing that make you sore for for days after sex?
As for actual science I've read that it makes no siginificant difference because your test returns to normal very shortly after ejaculation.
As for eating, I can usually eat like a horse after sex so a dozen eggs would be easy, although I highly doubt you expend that many calories unless you go at it for hours.

I'm all for s3x!!!! - don't know too many mates that are against it
the only time I get sore as you describe is when I'm binge-ing (think marathon sex)

What is marathon sex. Marathon to me is anything over 1+ hrs, to some guys it's over 3 minutes. LOL Hell this morning I woke up the woman to 45 minutes of straight oral and she returned the favor.
Usually after sex I still get up and eat because I have spent some good energy and usually a good cardio workout. If you really feel wiped out and sore take an aspirin and drink a protein drink.
I remember the days when all the football coaches and wrestling coaches would tell us DONT have sex the night before a game or match due to depleting your energy.

Marathon s3x is when you don't have the kids in the house, put on a porno, woman get's all her toys out, and you spend all night working on a very impressive rug burn to the knees, elbows, make a mess with the lube, and just spend the entire evening, into the wee hours of the next day doing the nasty. It's planned out to a certain extent, with snacks available, usually fresh fruit like strawberries or mellons cut up, or grapes. Maybe some chilled chablis. It also involves multiple showers, since, unlike Haz, when I go down, it's gotta be clean. And my woman feels the same....
It works best with stimulants. You can go with the coffee, or the energy drinks. I'm not into the illegal stuff anymore, so I pretty much just keeep it at that.

Sure a marathon sex session expends a lot of calories, so does any other form of cardio...would you rather ride an excecise bike or a women.
As far as those old school coaches, we never really paid a lot of attention to that part of the regimen.

Cutting 6-10lbs of water-weight the night before a competition, on top of the 10lbs or so that you're already holding off constantly will ruin your libido and make you feel like complete crap. Especially when most of us were below 150lbs to begin with. The only thing you can think about is water, then food.

I dont understand what you all are talking about...I hardly even start to breath hard in a minutes time ,how can you be so tired? I mean when I am done a minute later Im like, ready for more!!!
