Got pins from Tractor Supply. Good to go?
Was out of rigs and I needed one quick for my shot today. So yesterday, after going to 3 pharmacies and being turned down. I went to tractor supply. Got a bag of 3cc syringes, and a bag of needles. only 5 of each cause i'm getting more from ar-r .
It says sterile on the wrapper for the syringe and all. Not on the needles, but they gotta be? They're 22 gauge, 3/4inch. I'm goin to pin my delt with it so the length should be ok.
But are these from tractor supply ok to use!? For some reason I'm doubting it

Your good to go.
If they are safe to use on animals, (and farmers are picky about their animals. Theyre animals cant get sick or infections from dirty needles, cuz the animals are how the farmers make money.) Then they are good to go for you.

are the needles in a bag? are they still in side the plastic twist off container? Is there a seal on the containers of the needles? They probably say vet use only right?

The syringes are sealed and the print says ETO Sterile luer slip. and The pins have a cap on both ends with a sticker around the part where it seperates that says 22gx3/4"
guess its ust gonna sting a little more than the 23's i'm used to but oh well!!

Is this a serious question?
Why wouldn't they be GTG?? They say that they're sterile, so why wouldn't they be?Last edited by Bonaparte; 11-16-2010 at 07:56 AM.

I used to hate ordering things online, and didn't want to deal with pharmacies, so tractor supply needles are all I used for my entire cycle once. Vet grade stuff isn't as sharp, and usually is hard to find smaller than 22g, so its slightly more painful, but you are good to go.

Damn learn something new everyday, I had no idea tractor supply carried needles for vet use, can you get you fina, syno and cheque drops there too?
On a separate note yesterday I needed insulin syringes for my HCG and decided to try CVS and asked for a box, they did not blink and eye or ask me for ID or even to sign the register.
