    Antibiotics & AAS

So I just returned from my doctor visit. I've been feeling fluish the past couple of days. I did just start a test prop cycle and didn't know if it was test flu or something else. So the doc gave me a shot of penicilin and some antibiotics. Can either of these have any adverse effect on my cycle??

Well I don't know what you mean by an adverse effect (no you won't go blind) however penicilin as well as most other atibiotics cause many people to become tired lessen appetite etc much of this is due to the destruction of bacteria in the intestine, certainly destruction of bacteria in the intestine and the affects on absorption of nutrients along with appetite suppression can have and adverse affect on your cycle.

No I am not saying you should stop your cycle or panic, just pointing out that anitbiotics will probably lessen gains.

In addition penicilin and other antibiotics treat infections caused by bacteria not a common cold or the flu, so I really don't understand the docs prescribing them for flu symptoms (although many do its a bad idea to prescribe antibiotics without good reason). As far as treating test flu, test flu (IMHO) is caused by one of the metabolites of testosterone Etiocholanone which cause immunostimulation, hence the test flu. I am no doctor but I doubt that antibiotics will reverse this.

I have no worries about my gear, that's kinda the reason why I leaning towards test flu and not something more severe. I appreciate the info fellas.
