package seziures
ive read many posts on here about packages being seized. It seems everyone thinks when your package is seized you will not be red flagged because it makes no sense for customs to cross reference your adress to see if anything was ever seized to you.. But when you track your package you no exactly where it is because its always updating becasue its being scanned .. Now if you previously had something sezied isnt it just that ez to program your adress in their scanners and when your adress comes threw again its that ez to see your prior history???

Most places recommend using a different address after a seizure.

no your all confused
here's how the system works in cliff notes
package seized >> customs inspection >> relevant action taken
your name is on file for next time your get a package seized
so take two
package seized >> customs inspection >> relevant action taken
you now have two ticks on your file the more ticks the better picture and case they can build against you
and appropriate action taken
they are not gonna write down every name off of every parcel coming into the country and then cross reference them with the name of everyone who has imported contraband
that would take months

The OP was talking about express mail which is trackable meaning that all the information is parced by computers, this means that all you need is a couple of dozen lines of code to match names with prior siezures, what kills me is anyone sending shit that can be electronically monitored in those cases with a few more lines of code they can run checks on packages to analyze frequency of tracking ETC to identify patterns common to other shipments of steroids or patterns that are outside the norm for regular deliveries.
Once the shit is electronic it cost pennies to run any kind of analysis on thousands of packages....food for thought!
As far as regular first class mail, I have read that the post office uses OCR (scanners using optical character recognition OCR) powerful enough to analyze even handwritten names and addresses and that all this data is input and used for delivery and analysis. However I have also read that once this data is scanned from a package that an ultraviolet bar code is placed on the letter and that this barcode is used to route mail through the various transfers needed to reach its final destination...However when I got my last package I took a black light and scanned the letter and was unable to see any evidence that such a system is being used....so maybe they say this is how mail is routed but it seems like its not always the case.

I've had a package seized once coming to my house.... since then, I've had multiple shipments arrive.... actually not one more has been seized since.... so obviously, they don't take the time to check
Remember this...... People are lazy!
