I have seen many studies done on clomid's ability to raise test and LH levels, especially in men suffering from secondary hypogonadism. However, all those studies don't do any follow ups after the clomid treatment was stopped.

I have only heard of (read on forums) doctors prescribing individuals clomid for a short amount of time (1-4 months) to "jump start" or "goose" HPTA system back into normal functioning. Most of them did this because their only other option was lifelong TRT.

I am wondering if any of you guys have read or heard anything about short term clomid treatment having long term positive effects on restoring the LH and test levels and how effective those treatments were?

As we know, long term clomid use isn't all that easy on the body, especially the liver and it would be sad to have test levels rise back to normal, only to have them fall again once clomid treatment stops.
