Help, too much weight gain!
Im on my first cycle, 12 weeks test prop 100mg EOD and 6 weeks winny at 50mg ED, plus HGH 5iu EOD which i will carry on with for a while.
My goal was to get stronger for my weight which was 170lbs and now into week 9 im 187lbs even though i havent been eating more than usual. Ive been 170 for years before this and was easily maintaining this weight for a weight class sport.
I noticed some swelling in the wrists and ankles which has gone down a little but i really need to get back to 170 after the cycle, is it possible its all water weight and will go naturally? Im still as ripped as before so theres no extra body fat.

i dont understand why you would take steroids if you were concerned about gaining weight... take an AI to keep bloating down in the meantime. but if you are really that concerned, you may have to cut your cycle short.. hopefully a vet has more insight for you..

Because nearly every weightlifter, powerlifter, athlete takes steroids . Most are in weight classes or need to stay light like sprinters. So you think you cant get stronger for your bodyweight on steroids?
Its only the long run im worried about. I can deal with the weight for now but i just want to know if i am going to have to compromise some muscle after to get back down.

You are aware test prop causes weight gain??? Most fighters and other weight athletes tend to use something such as anavar only so they can become stronger without much weight gain. Some of your weight water and some of it is muscle. You probably should have thought about this...

My mistake, i thought prop was good for power:str because Ben Johnson took it. I need to make my weight by June so no hurry. But i would like to keep as much of my current strength as possible. If anything, i could lose some my upper body, but thats tricky without losing leg muscle also. Thats why i was hoping it could all be water. Anywhere near 17lbs of muscle is impossible surely?

If you're eating like a 170lb guy your be close to 170lbs after PCT. You won't hold on to too much of your gains. If you want to hang on to your gains you have to eat like a big man. If you keep about 1/3 of your gains you should call it good.
