Post elevated liver enzymes and winny

Ok no need to tell me that i was being dumb because I know. I did a winny only cycle for 12 weeks. Oringinally it was supposed to be for 7 wks but I was taking 50mg ED orally, and the smart one I am decided to push it to 12 because I liked the results and thought it wouldnt be a big deal. Ive been off everything
about 8-9 weeks. I had routine blood tests done 3 weeks ago and everything was great except my liver enzymes. Doc told me to wait 2 weeks and have the test redone again. I did and just got a call that my enzymes were still elevated and being referred to a specialist. im only 23 and that scares the hell out of me. thats the first oral steriod ive ever used. Ive lifted heavy for the past 5 yrs. I hear that guys that work out a lot can have elevated enzymes and thats normal. Also i heard that your liver enzymes are gonna be elevated after doing a cycle for a few monthes. I know 12 weeks is a long time but i do take some comfort that it was only 3 monthes and not 6-12 monthes or anything too insane. Just woundering if anyone has been in the same boat. Also i do take protein powerder and i read thats not good for your liver either. Hope everything gets back to normal

Well, what are your exact numbers?
I've been in a similar jam before.

ALT normal is 9-60 and mine is 87, AST normal is 10-40 and mine is 51. I know there are other enzymes but those are the big 2 and thats what is elevated

Those numbers are only slightly of the normal range and can easily be explained by lifting, which causes a chronic elevation in liver enzymes (and maybe a bit of drinking or whatever).

It is when your numbers are 2-3 times out of the normal range that you need to worry.
Take a week off from the gym, avoid fatty foods (particularly saturated fats), avoid alcohol or anything that harms your liver, drink lots of water and get another test. That should put you in the normal range.

Looks like you lucked out on this one, but I wouldn't go trying your luck again with any crazy oral cycles.

protein doesnt harm ur liver, it stresses ur kidneys so drink plenty of water there also!
look into milk thistle as a supplement to start taking.
yea i agree with Bonaparte, dont drink, avoid highy fatty foods (bad fats mainly), also grapefruit. it has a certain thing in the juice that interferes with liver function
    good luck!

Hence the reason ppl say to only cycle orals for a max of 6 weeks.

You lucky you didnt have heart failure.

3 weeks from when i started winnie i got bloodwork, cholesterol came back so high and bad my doctor was trippin, and tripped me out too..never will touch that sh*t again.

lol. It would take more than 12 weeks of shitty lipids to kill a healthy young man.

He already learned his lesson, so there is no need to say absurd things to scare him further.
Heart disease (arterial plaque buildup) from poor lipids is the sort of thing that takes years (usually decades) to cause problems. You don't just drop dead because your HDL hits 0.
I'm not saying that he didn't shave any time off his life in the long run, just that he was in no immediate danger of dying from heart failure as you said.

    BP is exactly right...

Look at morbidly obese people who have been that way for 20+ years....

And not to completely deny the toxic effects of orals.... I would say that any toxic effects of oral steroids is greatly over estimated

I have read study's (can't remember the exact dose and length etc....) where dbol was run at upwards of 100mg per day... It may have actually been more... For decent amounts of time and liver enzymes were hardly raised...

Not saying that this is a good Idea... There are many other Health risks to consider with oral AAS, BP, Lipids etc...

I had mono a year ago and just got some blood work done to check up, my liver enzymes are 2 x normal and I had an ultra sound done which showed my liver is slightly enlarged. I feel great though and work out 6 days a week do you think that my working out is the cause for this? i dont understand why my enzymes are still high...
