experiment with diuretic 3 weeks out from a competition

is it wise to experiment with a diuretic 3 weeks out from a show? i'm going to use dyazide. any thoughts? is it easy to replenish water lost by just drinking a couple gallons of water the next day?

IDK, but bear in mind that it takes 48 hours to replenish deep-tissue water loss.

IMO I wouldn't experiment with anything 3wks out. Its a waste of a lot of hard work by experimenting with things you've never used before. If you have a prep guy with extensive knowledge of compounds thats different but just to roll the dice with no idea of the probable outcome is silly IMO.

be careful and watch your salt intake. Dehydrating yourself for a dry look during a competition can be very strenous on ur body. the lights, and heat, and posing, and low water can rise problems, and possibly black out.

what ever you do, play safe and make sure you have water/electrolyte drink nearby.. Pedialyte is good for this, i had many athlete friends drink this during football 2adays to prevent cramps and dehydration.

I like doing a gatorade/powerade and water mix, 1 to 1. So if i have 20 oz -ade, i add 20 oz water. you prolly have a good knowledge on diet and such so just be smart.
