Fedex
Is it normal for fedex to not leave a note on the door that they tried to deliver ? I checked the tracking # and it says it's already back at there facility after only trying to deliver it 2 hours ago

I bet the driver screwed up and didn't even go by your house. Thats happened to me a few times. Then my shit gets shipped to Mesquite before they figure it out.

I called and they are going to just leave it inside my door tomorrow. There was no signature required either. The woman said some carriers will leave a note and some won't.

There supposed to leave a note. Probably he found the package on the wrong shelf of his truck, routed in with another neighborhood. Rather than drive back, like he is supposed to do, he just marks it down as a failed delivery attempt. Saves him running around, you'll get it tomorrow. Or, it may have been loaded on the wrong truck. Same results.

Yup, they leave a note saying they were there and you can sign if you want them to leave the package. It depends on the driver.

the last two times i have used fedex they have been a nightmare.
both times they acted like they tried to deliver it.
hell the last time someone called the day before and said it would be here tomorrow. three weeks later they admitted it was still at their warehouse.
avoid them if you can, just plain trouble here in pasadena texas.

i work for a company that sends out contracts through fedex and they do suck. They will leave a note for you letting you know they were there. Most of the time you have to call back the next day to remind them to leave it.

Have the post man, leave it outside the door. When he places it in your house you are claiming it to be your property. Tell him not to leave it inside your house. Leave it outside for a couple days then you will probably be ok.

I always take my gear outside of the home after I receive it for what might or could happen.......just to be safe
I give it a week and by then all should be clear

One of my buds lets his sit outside for a day - then he brings it inside, opens it, and writes 'RETURN TO SENDER - WRONG PERSON' on the outside and leaves it sitting on his table...does this for a week.
Funny how everyone seems to have 'their method' to allow for inner security. Shit, I thought about picking stuff up and driving it to a safe deposit box - to sit there for a week or two until I was ready to get it.

Putting "Return To Sender" on the pack does not work from what I hear
A safe deposit box is a good place though
