Anyone ever use a 27G needle?
I searched and it wouldn't pull up any results, so I apologize in advance for the repost.
Has anyone used a 27G for intramuscular injections? I've watched a youtube video where a doctor recommended using a 27G needle and it seems like it was painless and didn't take TOO long. I know that regular slin needles are 29G so I think 27 would be pretty painless.
I currently use 23G and although it's not that painful, sometimes it seems like I nick a nerve or something.
I know a lot of people will say just use a 25G, but I would especially like to hear from those who actually have used a 27g before.
Thanks

Only for hcg or gh...def not for an oil based compound.

Is this based on experience? Here, this Doctor recommends using 27G:

My doc gave me 23 gauge and they're ok but I prefer 25 gauge even though it's a bit slower. 27 may be a little too small for oil.

I have self pinned my glute with a 23 and this was a b!tch the time it took to plunge 1.5ml of room temp test was about 30 seconds. I was pinning my off side and the movement caused by the extra strength needed to plunge caused a sore glute for four days. I would not like to consider trying to move oil, heated or not, through a 27! 22 are great, the speed of plunge and the small amount of strength needed make it so the tissue damage is minimal. It really only pricks a little until it breaks skin the its mostly unnoticable.

I do small Test or tren shots with a 29g slin pin in my delts, pecs, and tris all the time. It's a bitch to load, but injecting isn't too bad. I'd prefer a 27g, but they're hard to come by.
And my gear is thinner than most.

I don't usually do shots with slin pins but once was in a pinch and had to use them. What I did was backload them by removing the plunger then squirting the oil into the barrel with a 3cc barrel and 18g needle. Then tapping to settle it all to the front of the syringe. Then turn it horizontal and place the very tip of the plunger in the barrel while quickly inverting the barrel and tapping again to move the AAS to the plunger end. Once you get a feel for it you can fill the barrel quickly with very little loss.

my first pin was with a 27g 1.5" needle. it takes a little longer because of how slow the compound needs to be injected. went down to 25g and really no difference in how the needle feels.

You will have a hard time getting any oil based products through a 27 g.
