    question about drug testing

My buddy told me that one of his college coaches swore to him that injectable steroids cannot be found in a urine drug test distributed by the NCAA, or anyone for that matter. I told him there is now way that is true, but can people clarify this for me?

    ROFL.
    That coach is an idiot.
There is a list out there with the detection times for most AAS in urine. Look it up.

Here is some anecdotal info for you: Landis (cyclist) was caught for steroids , and it was from a urine test. Here is what the New York Times said:

Landis was stripped of his title more than a year after winning the 2006 Tour when an arbitrators' 2-to-1 decision supported initial findings that Landis had synthetic testosterone in his urine during the race.
