I inject hyuarlon (hyuarlonic acid) into my knee annually.
    I take MSM
    and Hyuarlonic Acid powder orally

i understand adequan is vet grade, but injecting into the bursa is NOT for rookies!! If you don't know exactly what you are doing, you will regret it. My doctor buries about 1" of needle behind my knee cap, into the bursa.

My advice mate, and I'm serious about this, do not try this at home!

My bad. didn't realize adequan is IM, and not underneath the knee cap.

Considering back in april or may the company that manufactures it was closed down temporarily by the fda citing violations that would "prevent them from manufacuritng safe and effective products" and considering the standards are lower for vetrinary products than they are for human products I personally wouldnt inject this stuff.

As a vet student who is intimately familiar with Adequan, DO NOT INJECT THIS STUFF. Stick with Glucosamine. Anything designed for horses (only recently was it downsized for canines and felines) should not go into any human in my opinion (ergo, the uselessness of Equipoise ). Not only is dosing a complete juggling act, but you can easily over-lubricate your joints. Adequan is like the Tren of joint relief, except you shouldn't take it.

Adequan gave me mixed results when I was hauling my horse. Still had to have his hocks injected every 2 months.

The compound really should matter. I've heard from several people in the past that have run adequan with success and they never mentioned bruising. Any bleeding when you pulled the pin out? Maybe you just went through a blood vessel and that is what caused the bruising.

maybe, my horse trainer did it it didn't hurt at the time but man it bruised up. Ive read suggestions to thin it with saline or to warm it a bit.
