Guys i think i got had by some sonuvabitch.... it wasnt for a lot of $$, but I'm still pissed - plus I'm poor.

I paid w/Visa (through Paypal). Do you guys think I can call Visa and call it an "unauthorized transaction" and get my $$ back?? Is that credit card fraud? Or will I get away with it (it was jsut like $100).

Contest the transaction and paypal will freeze his paypal account with the money in it or pull it from his account.

Not a good idea to use a CC or paypal as a method of payment anyway. You can try and contact them and see what happens though. Report the name of the person to a mod also...

You can try to cancel the payment thru paypal but it may or may not work depending on how long ago the transaction was.

You call you credit card company and cancel the payment. They will charge back paypal and then paypal has to deal with getting it back from the SOB who screwed you. Paypal doesn't like when you do it this way, they want you to use their dispute channel, but that is just because they are the ones on the hook. I had a company screw me on a $450 charge in January (not AS related). My credit card company charged back paypal for the $450 and I got my money back. I haven't heard anything since.

CC companies don't like giving money back if u've made a payment and I've tried to get money back from a gym before, after the mother fuckers where charging me after i cancled and they still couldn't get my money back cause they said it was authorized. WTF . Good luck bro, but never buy off a guy who wants paypal

sadly, dick is no longer with us. you can IM him on Tankplater on AIM if you need advice on charging it back. also which source did you use? :
