I am new to town and was looking to meet some buddies to learn about the Pittsburgh scene and/or work out with.

There's bally's downtown. Pretty nice gym. I'm not sure if there is an LA fitness down there...yet. LA Fitness is by far the best gym I've ever been to and I've been to a lot.
