What do you know about ovidrel?

HCG is not available in Australian (on prescription, or otherwise if you want it legit or stable/usable) but I can change my script for Ovidrel and the pharmacists ive spken to say its better and more effective than Pregnyl (HCG).

I want to know what anyone here knows about dosing Ovidrel on cycle, after cycle, cycle type doses, basically any one with knowledge on this compound and its use please jump in.

I'm a little confused are you subbing Ovidrel for HGH? The're totally different compounds.

evidently ovidrel is HCG .... the difference is that normally HCG is derived from the urine of pregnant women.

ovidrel, on the other hand is produced with by recombinant DNA technology (much like most insulin produced today and all HGH)

in that case ovidrel would be dosed at the same rate as HCG, because they should be bioidentical molecules....

there's no reason that it should be any more/less effective.... it should be the same

hey mate im actually a pharmacist in australia.. i am also considering using ovidrel next cycle.. a few issues with it.. it comes as a 250mcg preloaded injection.. that 250mcg ive read from various sources is actually equivalent to 10000 units of HCG .. so it does contain more than pregnyl.. however splitting the dose will be hard as it is already preloaded in 1 ml..

yeah.... but i suppose you could put the contents of the preloaded syringe into a vial and dilute with bac-water....

    then you'd be all set

lol problem in australia is it is impossible to get bac water.. everything here is so difficult u cant even order it!!!.. best u can do is put it into vial add some sterile saline and try to use it up in a couple weeks while using very sterile techniques.

Bad idea man.... that shouldn't be used when HCG is way more effective and not at all dangerous. There's a thread on here on how the naltrexone theory works..... the benefits weren't posotive enough to warrant it.

After another doctors visit and tracking down a pharmacist that is Hormone specialist I have found that ovidrel comes in a 250mcg preloaded (multi-click) syringe with 12 clicks, each click is the equivelant of 250iu HCG (6500iu total) although there is a difference between HCG and Ovidrel from what my research tell me and from the hormaone specialists I haev spoken to I am told Ovidrel is far superior.

"Ovidrel is much more superior to Pregnyl (HCG), because it stimulates the FSH, LH and TSH production simultaneously, so it repairs your testosterone function, sperm production and thyroid function in one go, whereas Pregnyl does only the testosterone function"

Hope this helps anyone considering the same thing and for all you Aussies reading ask your doc for ovidrel next time instead of HCG, there is none left in the country and without permits and constrant refridgerstion importing it is both illegal and will likely (if sucessful) just leave you with bunk HCG that wont do a thing.

That's good news about ovidrel.. DefinAtely going to use it for next cycle.. Didn't know it was a multi click.. Maybe one click every 5 days will do?? But 12 clicks and 6500IU is more than 250IU per click.. Would be more like 500..

i think what you are hearing might be sales pitch and hype...

wiki says Ovidrel is HCG just made using rDNA technology... similar to how some insulin is produced

it is an identical molecule, so it should act identically.

Varied opiniOns out there. End of the day it's at least as good as hcg although I spoke Roth my fertility clinic as I'm freezing sperm and they use ovidrel for male and female fertility Never hcg. And I'm doing this for fertility purposes so it suits my goals.

As for BAC water, just make it or look around and you'll find it here (please don't ask where)

Ovidrel mixing instructions from Dr. John's forum users. Not an
    official recommendation of Dr. Crisler.
We do not recommend diluting Ovidrel, and will no longer be
prescribing this medication to our patients. Please ask for a brand
name or compounded HCG that comes in a multi-dose vial.
You need the Ovidrel injection, which is a .5ml injection equivalent to
6500iu of HCG. You need bacteriostatic water, a mixing syringe, and a
sterile vial. This should be done in sterile conditions and if you are not
familiar with this do not attempt dilution.
Draw out 6 ml of the water and inject into the sterile vial. Inject the
Ovidrel into the sterile vial with the 6ml BC water and mix GENTLY to end
up with a total of 6.5 ml. Then 25 units on an insulin syringe will be the
equivalent of 250iu of HCG. This will last 20 weeks at the 250iu 2x a week
    dosing.
This is prescription of use from the professor ginecologyst ...was PDF but I didn't know how to please it here
