    Confused lately

    I am confused by quite a few posts I've been seein lately about people's stats, how much does genetics play a role in your weight , such as 4 people same diet etc, because I'm 5"11 89kg@12%bf and I find that very average lol.

    I think its just a random stat that ppl pick to use because in reality, they know theyre too fat and out of shape to use aas or like most ppl are about 18% and think theyre 12%

    genetics has a LOT of sway in how you look and how your body responds to diet/exercise. The shape of your muscles, whether or not your 6pak shows naturally, your overall body strength level....

    for example, at any age, it would have been nearly impossible for me to be at an elite level for body bbuilding (if i had put the effort in). Upper bbody too big, legs too slender, butt has a funny shape.

    but with 80+% of us here, that is not the point. the point is continuous improvement, not perfection.
