How much test to dose for an athlete thats not a bodybuilder??
Hi,
just a random question, how much test should someone dose that is competing in another sport other then body building??
The reason I ask is im on cycle now, 4th week in, just 500mg of test E and i front loaded with prop, ive gained 7kg, which is probly mostly water weight, strength has gone up alot, gone from benching 140kg x4times for sets, to today benching 140kg x8times and 150x5
anyway im getting off the subject, i do some kickboxing, i hadnt done any since i started cycle, but i did this week, i assumed i would kill it as i was feeling like a machine, after 3 rounds my back was so pumped it hurt and i had to lie down and stretch it,lol, holding wasnt much better, my arms got pumped as shit and by the end it was hard as **** to keep them up.
is this just because i hadnt done it for a bit and my body will adapt if i do?
or do athletes just low dose their test??
i am just trying to put size on now so i dont give a shit, but wanted to know how someone would compete on?? The only things im good for at the mo is lifting and ****ing and eating.
Stats are, incase some one wants to know
34
179cm
100kg
4th cycle

Testosterone helps with nitrogen in your muscles as well hypertrophy. In other words, you're gonna get pumped. 500mg is quite a lot for a kickboxer, IMO. The dose really depends on what you want out of the AAS. If you want size and strength you take 500mg/wk or more. If you want better recovery and joint lubrication I would mix a little Deca with the Test. I think your question is fairly open ended and there are a variety of answers. For a kickboxer, I'd say take a little Test like 300mg/wk because I think strength and size is not the governing factor in kickboxing. There's endurance, flexibility, mental toughness, technique, etc. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on AAS over training.

Thanks for the reply, yeh that makes alot of sence, this cycle has been a bit different to the others, ive always got the pump, but not through my back and to the point where i couldnt continue to do tasks, was a bit weird, but i think maybe its just better gear then ive had on previous cycles,
cheers again

I'm not certain I'd take any steroids for performance enhan***ent if we are talking about purely athletic performance. First you have to consider the testing window for many of these substances carry into months and in some cases well over a year! Second I get horrible pumps from several compounds. Like cramps on well... steroids. Third some substances even can negatively effect your endurance. A lot of people complain of this from tren . I suspect too much EQ could cause a thickening of the blood that could cause your heart to work harder then you'd like for added endurance. Lower quantities of EQ increases red blood count which should increase endurance but then the testing issue becomes. If I were a tested athlete the only thing I'd take is test suspension and then maybe only during the offseason. It would add lean mass. Depending on the sport that could be either an asset or a liability.

As a couple have already said, test can actually hurt an athletes performance in some cases. I've known a few people that were athletes and used low doses of test and ran 40mg of T-bol a day(20mg @ breakfast, 20mg @ dinner) and they had fantastic results. I've not used it yet but plan to run it very soon to see how well it works. Just a thought!

Crazy when I was younger (24) and did my first test cycle it helped me dunk a basketball. I played my whole life and half through my cycle I was able to jump out of the building. It was pretty crazy

Cheers for the thoughts, yeah testing wouldnt be an issue. but i was just curious what dosage people were on, cause you know half the pro guys are on gear, Alistair Overeem did just get busted before fighting for the heavy weight UFC title, but he has been fighting in K1 for years, im guessing untested.
I dont think it would be used for the fitness aids, probly just better, faster, stronger??recovery?hit harder?lol
for me, im getting on now, so was thinking if i was to compete again, i would probably be on something. not 500mgs tho....

IMO big doses of test will kill your cardio, so if you are in kickboxing, MMA etc, better stay on low doses (and ``low doses`` is quite individual - i would not go over 600 mg a week to maintain cardio). If you want to gain size test is great. Its all coming to your expectations and goals.
