    Increased vertical leap

    Hey guys... I was wondering if anyone had a good experience in either a much improved vertical leap or explosiveness in general. Clearly the proper strength program alongside plyometrics, proper nutrition, etc is a must, but my question is what type of gear would either aid in developing or possibly recruiting fast twitch muscle fibers?

    Any input/experience is appreciated.

    apparently people on this site like to tag team and not help anyone but each other out..

    but anyway to answer your question, belive it or not cortisone injection increase white twitch fibre cells, aswell as anavar and eq..

    also try doing 50-70m sprints my vertical went up 5inches in 6months from sprints cause it involves more anaerobic power and ald also stripping fat

    I'm a strength and conditioning coach and the only way to become fast, jump higher ect ect is to become more powerful! my rule with athletes is unless you can squat 1 1/2 your body weight, perfect form, with a smooth slow and steady tempo on the way down, ass to grass, you have no business doing plyometrics or any sort of "powerful" movement. Once my athletes can squat 1 1/2 their weight I have them to plyo's, I also do a lot of jerks and cleans ect ect....powerful movements!

    p.s some people are gifted with a very high ratio of fast twitch fibers and naturally have great vertical ability! most of the time those guys will give advice that is totally wrong for the avg person!
