Blood pressure scaring me
Here's the scoop. About 3 weeks ago I averaged 125-130 over 78-80 and now I'm at 167 over 88. I don't know wtf to do. I'm taking coq10, red yeast rice, potassium, multivitamin, flax oil, baby aspirin, and garlic as support supplements. I'm taking .35 adex eod and on test c 250x2 a week. I tried doing cardio but I get the worst pumps in legs and can't continue. It's embarrassing to be honest. I was on stairclimber for 10 min before I started hurting so bad I had to keep stopping. I've tried jogging and bike but can't go on due to pumps. I'm 6.5 weeks into a 12 week cycle and I'm just a little lost on what to do. Aren't blood pressure meds just diuretics? Should I up adex? It's estro related more than likely huh?

All BP meds are not diuretics, in fact most of them are not. How old are you, and how much do you weigh?

Drink lots of water, clean up your diet, and maybe up your anti E if you are carrying water. If that fails get to a doctor and get on bp meds. I wont cycle with out them .

Increase your AI dose.
Take 5g of taurine pre-workout to prevent the pumps.
You have tons of options for BP meds. Vasodilators (Cialis), Ace inhibitors, beta blockers, alpha-2 agonists (clonidine), and diuretics.

Vasodilators woul help with vascularity too huh? Any long term health risks associated with it? Also can you suggest a dose?

if you bp is only high while on cycle, then its probably estro related from water retention. do what Bona said, increase your AI slowly. if that doesn't work, you may consider a slow diuretic.
but if your bp remain high post cycle and post pct, for a young athlete, i would recommend ACE inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers.

At what point would my blood pressure be of immediate concern? I know everyone is different and the answer would be different for everyone but can some one give me an idea?

Yes, because you're likely to have a stroke or an aneurism at that range if you have any preexisting condition (and if not, you're going to develop one in a hurry).
But OP, I'd say anything over 180 systolic and 100 diastolic is cause for immediate concern (i.e. take your ****ing medicine and quit trying to lower it with herbs and diet).
There is no magical number, but the higher it is and the longer it is elevated, the more damage you're doing to your body.

I agree. I am quite pro-med. Op should definitely do something soon and not wait and see. Increase ai, add diuretic, something.
Re-evaluate after pct if bp still high.

I didn't up my adex last night but today my blood pressure using my dads monitor was an average of 122/78. I was forcing my arm into the automatic one at cvs so do you guys think it was just off and my dads is on. I'm having bad nose bleeds and I was thinking that was from blood pressure but there's no way with blood pressure that low I wouldn't believe. Hmmm idk what to think now. I will be goin to buy my own monitor tho. I would assume one is as good as the other

What kind do you take times roman? I have cialis on the way and I'm gonna give it a go. I can only affor that on cycle tho for bp. I'll have to discontinue after pct if not sooner but I'm hoping there's no need at time of pct.

Your BP at CVS is in no way an accurate diagnosis of high blood pressure. To get an accurate reading one must check their BP several times a day. And remember, it is normal for your BP to be higher when you first wake up.

At the beginning of this thread I was a little concerned....until I read the part about a cvs bp machine....lol.
Dude you get what you pay for when it comes to bp machines, I use a Intellisense(OMRON) wrist bp machine, I like it because its accurate and no cuff and pumping, its battery powered automatic.

Beck thank you for advice on what kind and brand but I was skeptical about the wrist kind of machine. I guess I felt like the traditional kind would be better but if you like it that much I may just buy the exact same thing. I went to buy one the other day but didn't have my wallet an besides they offer so many different brands and designs I was really concerned about buying a bad one. I definitely want to have a very accurate one so I know what that cialis as well as other cycles are doing to my body.
