    Side effects from using testosterone

I am on week 4 of a 10 week cycle of sustamix 250. What I have noticed is that by Friday I show symptoms of the flu followed by tiredness. Last weekend I slept nearly the whole weekend away. It's now friday in Australia and I experienced a runny nose, sneezing and then the tiredness kicked in and have felt like $hit all day. Is this normal?

I'm taking it as a hint that I must be lacking in nutrients or something. I'm going to see a pt tomorrow to start a new diet and my wife is going to get me some good multivitamins. Do you think that will help?

Those are not typical sides, nor is your productive mucus description consistent with Test Flu.
It actually sounds like you have a cold. A multi won't help, if you want to treat it OTC take 100 mg of Zinc ED and overdose (3-5000 mg) on Vitamin C every four hours for a few days. Else see a doc who'll check you out and likely put you on a wide spectrum antibi for faster results.

    Best to you.

If you're having trouble eating and getting proper nutrition, when I get sick on cycle, I make a bunch of hearty soup. Chicken noodle/rice with potatoes or beef stew with potatoes. For me, soups/stews are more appetizing and easier to get down. Just a suggestion if you're having trouble with a sore throat or lack of appetite.

Hmmm. When I'm sick I just stick to water based protein to try to preserve as much lean mass as possible. I'll drink gator aid to keep hydrated and provide some carbohydrates but keep that to a minimum.

I've never been much of a soup person. Maybe I just haven't had the right soup?

When I've been sick I just grind up my meals, warm em up, n down the hatch they go.. Chicken n rice works well in a blender.. *Warning* Do not blend tuna salad.. tried this once n couldnt hold it down.

Eggs, whole grain toast, n turkey bacon is nice, so is WG spaghetti with homemade sauce n shredded chicken.

My favorite is protein pudding though. Pop it in the freezer n u got ice cream. Great treat when you're sick.

Vitamin c won't make any difference it takes weeks to build up in your system, plus overdosing is completely useles as vit c is water soluble any excess will be pissed away, only effect will be an irritated bladder. Sounds like he has a virus which will not respond to antibiotics, rest and fluids is all that can be done, it's a bitch but your immune system will sort it out within a week or two, if not go and seek

A buddy of mine tosses veggies and cooked meat in a blender with raw eggs when he's I'll so his diet stays on point.

Exactly. Vitamin C is better at prevention than treating illness. Zinc, A, magnesium, potassium or anything that boosts electrolytes will help. Keep in mind certain gear can have immunosuppressive effects. Couple that with trips to a dirty gym environment and you may find yourself fighting off more "bugs" than usual.

Supplements like krill oil, ubiquinol, multi vitamins, C, etc will strengthen your immune responses.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I love the soup idea. I guess my immune system is quite weak at the moment from using the gear. Having our newborn baby sneezing on me all the time certainly doesn't help either. I had a good weekend of rest, took a heap of multi vitamins and got some good antibiotics. So fingers crossed it'll do the trick. I start with a pt for 8 weeks this Thursday. Hopefully the new diet my pt prepares will help sort it out as well...
