If you are prone to hairloss and considering AAS, you need to decide whats more important to you. If you're that worried about it, I wouldn't bother cycling. It will speed up the process. Typically, even after a small/low dose cycle, when you see how easy gains are with AAS, people tend to want to cycle again and again at higher and higher dosages. Everyone says, "I'll just do this one cycle to get where I want to be and maintain those gains." If you're prone to hairloss and you start cycling, even once a year or two... you will see hairloss. My brother has been taking propecea for 10 years. he was going bald at 25/26 and started propecea and still has all his hair. He has never done any AAS except anavar . You gotta decide are you willing to lose your hair faster than you would if you didn't cycle. I know many people that have been cycling for 10+ years and still have all their hair bc they aren't prone to it. Know the consequences... make your decision, and deal with the consequences. You could always get transplants or plugs. Or a toupee.

dulatestride is a lot stronger then propecia, so i tried it for 6 months had good regrowth this is a while back in 2007 i think, and nothing more after stopping regrowth hair fell off again. I have more thinning then hairloss, weird thing is i am on GH right now doing between 1-2IU per day 5/2 protocol been 2 months and i got hair thicker and fuller then before and hair growth on the scalp. I guess that for the price GH is my number one choice for all its sick benefits.

Propecia and dutasteride tend to have some terrible side effects for a lot of people check out the forum dedicated to propecia side effects...take it from me, if you care about your hair (and it seems like you do) then DO NOT cycle, work your ass off in the gym and be happy knowing any hair you lose is what nature intended and you didn't do anything to **** it up because it's a tough thing to accept.

If someone could chime in about topical spiro and how it actually prevents thinning
Spiro is an anti-androgen. I'm pretty sure it blocks ARs or otherwise prevents androgens from binding (which is why I don't recommend it as an oral diuretic).

Topical spiro can be used on an "as needed" basis.
And yeah, it should only affect the local tissue.

I would never touch Propecia. Just read this:
    Article from:AsexualZombie

Ask somebody who's life is ruined by Propecia anything...

    Ready goo...

    edit 1:

18 years old, was an athlete with scholarship offers for basketball and football. Took Propecia about for hair thinning. 8 months in I developed major side effects. Stopped the drug and side effects have never gone away even 6-7 years later. Been to 10+ doctors and spent over $7,000 on medications, labs tests, etc.

    Permanent Side Effects:

    -ZERO sex drive
    -Smaller penis
    -ED
    -Muscle Wasting/Weakness
    -Brain Fog
    -Memory issues
    -Can't Focus
    - Pelvic Floor Tension
-Testicular Failure (Balls have shrunk to grape size)
    - Major fatigue and lethargy
    - Depression
    - Non-responsive to any form of TRT or androgens

    edit 2:
more info at Popecia Help DOT com

there is currently about 6-7 studies being done by a research institute into the epigentical mutations that propecia causes. there are thousands of men just hanging onto life with hope that these studies will lead to a "cure". if they dont, then i promise you there will be a TON of these ex-proecia guys commiting suicide. many already have.

    edit 3:

It would be perfectly safe for women. It is an anti-androgen, after all. And I know it is prescribed orally to men and women for CHF (as a potassium-sparing diuretic), so no worries there.

They do. It's just that Finasteride is usually used first, so people who are going to have issues experience them with finasteride and never try dutasteride.

32 year old male checking in. Been losing my hair since I was 16. I've actually maintained a lot of it thru various drugs/treatments. You name it, ive tried it. Doing my first test cycle @ 600 mg/week. We'll see what happens in 12+ weeks from now. If I lose it all then so be it....get a trimmer and buzz that chit off
