Testosterone levels with dianabol

I am confused by something I read about in the steriod profile section. The writer writes "a study, done in the early 80s, a very high dose of Dianabol (100mgs/day for 6 weeks) decreased plasma testosterone to about 40% of its normal value," I read in the forums that most steroids will shut you down in less than a week? Why would plasma testosterone be 40% with dianabol ?? What is producing the testosterone??? Does dianabol shut you down less than other steroids??? Maybe I just do not understand. Thanks

Because most AAS won't shut you down in a week, with the exception of 19-nors.

those results would mean that at the mg value of dbol that the average of the test subjects remaining endo test production was at 40% after the 6 week period the total shut down depends on the type of anabolic steroid 19nors for example the dosage in mg and the person
remember those results are done on an average were the entire results are taken and divided by the number of subjects statistically speaking every subject in a medium to high group getting the same result is next to impossible
