blast and cruise
Could someone point me in the right direction on what exactly blasting and cruising means, how you do it, and the pros and cons of doing it. Thanks

Are you currently on trt??

Simple version: staying on AAS all the time. Rather than recovering after a cycle (blast) you go down to a maintenance dose of Test (cruise) rather than doing PCT.
Personally, I wouldn't do it at a younger age unless I relied on my physique for a living.
I will ask the same question: are you currently on TRT?

not for the faint-hearted...

No I'm not on trt and I will be 23 at the end of July.
I would absolutely love to stay on all the time but I don't want to die for it. Genetically I have high blood pressure but my clonidine medication makes my blood pressure normal. I also am very vain and don't want to go bald and I was starting to have a receding hairline but I have a propecia prescription and can always get dutesteride from a r r.
Before I decide though I should definitely get my cholesterol and all my other blood lab work done, if it all checks out okay would I really be taking that much of a risk for shortening my life span or reducing quality of life if I was to do the blast and cruise message?

Sorry that was an optimistic freudian slip I'll be 33 not 23 lol

if you keep to sane doses, i dont think you'll die young just from blasting and cruising. but the risk of needing trt is definitely rather high. if you dont mind needing to pin the rest of your life, make sure you do regular bloodworks for monitoring. i think ronnie's sticky is what most people follow.

I will look into his sticky it's not that I'm so concerned about dying young but just being really unhealthy or having really bad adverse affects some chronic steroid use later in life

Agreed. If you share your experience here it will be available to a lot of people for a long time.
I am interested in whatever complications you have had. I am on TRT, so I am basically doing a blast and cruise...although I imagine your cruise dose is higher than my TRT dose.Last edited by JohnnyVegas; 10-09-2012 at 09:56 PM.

What can possibly be the cons to TRT?
Is it only because of the price issue other than that I don't see what the big deal is there what's so bad about being on TRT forever? , I currently don't have health insurance so so the price Factor would weigh heavily into my decision

I have health insurance but no prescription coverage. $$$, Really gets to be a drag injecting test 2x week Hcg 2x a week taking an AI. Traveling with all the gear is a pain. Blood work, blood work, blood work every 3-4 months same with the Doctor visits.
As if we don't have enough s**t in our lives to worry about!!!

I've been on TRT since '94. Blasting is much easier going back to a TRT dose rather than PCT and feeling like crap and wondering if things will recover or not. I wouldn't go on a blast and cruise regimen unless I was already on TRT. Just my opinion.

Two Test shots and two HCG shots a week is 208 injections a year not including blasting. Red blood cell count and hematocrit go up requiring blood donation. Altered cholesterol levels. Trouble getting hormone levels right. Testicular atrophy requiring HCG. Expensive as hell when you factor in blood work, doctor's visits, Test, HCG and possibly an AI.

Yeah I can't afford that shit. Guess this is my last cycle for a long ass time.
