Panic attacks?
i just started a cycle this past monday, today was my second injection and I didn't want to do it. I called a friend who is about to be a nurse to do it for me. She ended up doing the shot and during i noticed a pinch, I figured it was because I was nervous for someone else to do it. I felt where the area was injected and it was in the meaty part of my butt oppose to the top corner. If she did hit my sciatic nerve how long would I know if it caused any damaged, couldn't really find a time frame online, and also when leaving the gym on the drive home I got a massive panic attack which hasn't happened in about 2-3 years. Could there be a relation between the two or am I just over thinking it? Also I did take a pre workout but never has this happened before.

Over-thinking it! Take a chill pill, you are fine.

Lol oh man, you really might want to reconsider your options if you freak out that badly over an injection man. Find your happy place, it will be alright.

Most likely it's the pre work out that made you feel like it was a panic attack, and if it was your nerve you would feel the pain or numbness going down your leg

Haha. Your a funny guy. If she hit your sciatic nerve your head would of hit the ceiling. I feel ya though, I get paranoid sometimes too playing doctor with all these injections from only online research.

I have loved pinning ever since I began cycling. Strangely, I look forward to pinning... Is that weird?

Bingo-if the nerve was hit you wouldn't be asking if it was... The pain would be incredible along with your involuntary movement of the leg involved. Under local (anesthetic) you'd feel a tingling or numbness in certain parts of the leg/ feet/toes when the needle hits the nerve...
The body's rather simple with nerves & aside from an actual nerve system infection the only other symptom of damage is pain (or other feelings) & control issues. An infection of the nerve itself & you'd be in the ER by now.
You stated you've had a previous panic attack & it's totally possible that combined with anxiety & what was injected your brain just went into overdrive. Serotonin causing panic attacks is much more common & it doesn't take much to throw that off... Monitor your next injection & see if you have the same issue. The ONLY good thing about panic attacks is that they only last (usually) a max of 10 min. & cause no harm (other than more anxiety).
I'm curious to know if others have had panic attack related? Odd, but everyone's body is different...

My little brother spilled clen on his hand and thought he was having an overdose from it.. He said he got all fainty and started sweating profusely. I believe him that he was sweating and stuff but it was all psychosomatic.
