First injections today
Hey everyone, I did my first two injections today. Both thighs 1ml of 250mg test c (front load). My question is is it normal to feel tightness around the injection sight almost immediately after administering?

Is about a 2" circumference around the site. I'm guessing this is normal?

I always inject into my glute, so I never experience tightness because there's so much room in the muscle for an injection of liquid. However, when I've done larger injections (1cc) into my delt, I have felt tightness post-injection because there is less room for the liquid and I'm guessing the sub-cutaneous tissue has to stretch a bit to accomodate the liquid until it is all absorbed. The feeling typicaly went after a couple hours.
I don't think you have to worry about it. Only worry if you have serious pain more than 24 hours after the injection. Post-injection anxiety is often an issue with newbies. My advice is to relax and not worry. Do a search on the word "infection" to learn the signs of an infection, and as long as you don't have these symptoms (i.e. intense pain at or around the injections site more than one day after the injection; the injection site feels hot to the touch; swelling; fever, etc.) you're fine.
So relax and learn the symptoms of infection and you'll be fine.

Thanks TO, I'm guessing it is anxiety, stretching makes it feel better. It's far from an intense pain. It took almost 10 minutes before I could actually stick the needle in. Now I need to figure out where I'm going to inject the other 2mls on Friday....... :-s

Thanks for the advice Marcus, you guys are life savers. Not sure how I would be able to go through with this cycle without the comfort of this site.
I can say my wife was apprehensive at the first thoughts of me doing this. After I showed her this forum and she spent some time looking around she has been put at ease.
Thanks guys

Would my last 2ml (500mg) injection be uncommon to inject into one glute all at once? If possible I think it would be easier than doing two multiple injections before going to 1ml shots next week.

Your only taking 2ML...why do 2 seperate injections and dbl your scar tissue buildup? Just shoot the full 2ML in one place from the same pin!!

No scar tissue Lunk, just first time EVER injecting. Honestly though the reason this injection happened in two separate injections was because I simply forgot about doubling the dose for frontloading. So many things going through your head when you have that first needle in hand. After I pulled it out I was like "damn, that was supposed to be 2 mls." So I went and put another ml into the other leg. After that's as over and I felt the bit of discomfort I thought maybe it was a good idea to do it in two separate injections. Reason for this post

My point is that scar tissue builds up over time from injecting so try to limit your injections as much as possible by using one injection if you can. I understand this particular situation though...I have brain farted too (alot actually lol).
The tightness will go away. The oil has to absorb and the new muscle is not used to that yet. Keep moving and it will get better soon. Good luck...the hard part is over

Doing 2mls isn't uncommon ill do that into my glute on Friday. Just new to the injecting thing and what to expect.
I'm sure I'm going to skip the dbol all together because of recommendations. I do have a question regarding that though. It seems that there is no "guidelines" per say about when to take it. Just thinking that if a person is using Test for a cycle, would there be a need to spread out the dbol to maintain levels? Seems that it doesn't make sense and taking it a few bourse before workout for peak levels would be more ideal?

Dbol is a very short half life compound and in order to be the most effective should be taken 2X a day at the same time each day. However...1X a day at the same time will not rally change the results. It's the same theory behind ingecting long estered test ED or EOD instead of E3D. It's better but not neccessary...this make sense?
Yes 2ML in the glutes is just fine! Push slow and take your time!!!

Sort of, what your saying is that it is always recommended to keep levels as consistent as possible no matter why compound you are using? The more often and spread out you make a compound the more stable and consistent it is in your system.

So if Dbols half life is between 4-6 hours, your next dose should happen prior to that. This would insure that the total amount in your system is building...

If this is your first cycle there is no need to front load, if your muscle isnt use to injection your going to staruggle injecting so much in one area.

Yes it is Marcus,
It wasn't so much a struggle to inject, but I understand the idea of your muscles not being used to it. However, the initial 2mls have already been administered and my legs already feel better. Enough so that I could go to the gym and do legs without concern or issue.

Personally, I think the glute is the best plce to inject. Very few nerves to worry about, and blood vessels are few and far between. Also, I almost never have pain or tightness during or after the shot. You can pin yourself using a mirror to help, but ideally you can have your wife do it for you. Just have her practice with a needle filled with water on an mandarin orange or something. Teach her how to aspirate , tell her to stick the pin in straight and fast, but remove slow and smooth. She can use two hands, so she'll be able to keep it steadier than you and inject slower, avoiding any tearing of the muscle, which can lead to post-injection pain and scar tissue.
When you inject into the glute, divide your butt cheek by imagining a horizontal line running directly across the middle, and verticle line also running directly down the middle. Now your glue is divided into four more-or-less equal quadrants. When you inject in the glute, you want to aim for the upper outside quadrant. This will avoid any chance of hitting a nerve, but you still should aspirate to make sure you haven't hit a blood vessel.
Once you become more comfortable with injections you can do it yourself. I have no problem injecting into my glute using a mirror. But it's always better to have someone do it for you.

Did you use the same needle in the other leg? That might be why your second injection is uncomfortble. Might have dulled the needle.

Thanks for the advice, as always!
The first Injection I used two different needles, one to draw, the second to inject. Once I realized I forgot to inject 2ml I took a 3rd new needle and figured I'd try drawing and injecting with the same pin. A little more discomfort going in but nothing serious. The first shot I didn't even feel going in.
Since the injection, both areas just feel like someone gave me a Charlie horse. Nothing serious though. No more tightness.
