Looking for advice
First off, I greatly appreciate everyone's opinions and info which is greatly a result of your experience. That being said; I recently posted a question (as a newbie) about using and what would be recommended. I am 32 years old (in December) 5 foot, 10 inches, weigh 229 pounds (as of this morning) and am by no means fat. Now, according to my measurements - waist 38 inches and neck 16.5 I would be aprox 24% body fat. I tend to have a smaller neck though unfortunately. (Would have posted a pic but not sure exactly how).
I'm looking to reduce my fat and up my muscle gains. I am naturally low on testosterone (for which from 2005 to 2007 i was rcving test injections by a doc) and find it difficult to reduce fat and gain muscle despite my strict dieting and gym routine. I'm looking to enhance my genetics by use of steroids and need input as to what a good first cycle would be. I'm fully aware of the sides (as I have done research for what seems to be forever now) but when it comes to cycles I see so many variations. I would greatly appreciate everyone's opinion and a good point if direction to start so that I can be safe while doing such.
P.S.... I have asked in another post for similar info but am told to reduce my body fat first. I do cardio (HIIT) 45 minutes a day / 5 to 6 days a week, gym 5 days a week / am on a strict diet and have seen minimal changes in 2 years. I'm getting discouraged. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please HELP!!!!! Thanks in advance!!

Welcome GI,
Your cardio looks great. So this certainly comes down to diet. I understand that you feel your diet is great, however, I would consider having it evaluated in the nutrition section. Steroids will not help you at all if your diet isn't working. You can cut down naturally. You'll have to calculate your total daily energy expenditure and go into a caloric deficit of 500+ calories per day, minding your fats, carbs and proteins. That's how you cut. This is all explained in detail in the nutrition section.
Cycling at a higher body fat will present more side effects than benefit.
Best of luck to you, consider an ECA stack.

First, Testosterone Replacement , when done correctly, increase the resting metabolic rate in men. This in turn accelerates weight lose and sees an increase in lean muscle mass.
But note when I say "done correctly"...as most Doctor's don't know HRT therapies for men and how to prescribe correct treatment.
Can you post your previous TRT protocol?
Curious to know if you injected or used Transdermals.
Also, any HCG to keep HPTA intact? HCG will also facilitate fat lose as well.
And the biggie...did you test E2 and was it managed if elevated with an AI?
Elevated E2 will reverse all the good that Testosterone Replacement was intended to do and one reason why you may not have gotten the results you were looking for.

As far as the "test" treatment I had been recieving; I couldn't tell you much about it other than it came packaged to me via mail (had a prescription from the VA/yes I'm a veteran) and I had to go the the va where they administered the shot. If I had to guess - I would say it was every month or so that I received the shot. I became aware of my low levels when my wife (now X) and I were trying to have a baby and were unsuccessful. Went to the VA, they ran blood work and determined I was low on testosterone . Hence, the treatment.
As for diet. For me, I'm supposed to take in 3,099 calories daily to maintain my weight. 2,599 to lose 1pound weekly and 2,099 cal to lose 2pounds weekly. I'm at 2,099 calories for last 8 weeks with no change in progress. And in takung in 170grams of protein between supplements and natural foods.... I'm not looking to get huge. My goal is to be in the teens for bodyfat and gain muscle mass. I already have a decent amount of muscle - if course it's mainly hidden under the fat I can't shake. Lol. Anyone have any ideas?

First, let me say thank you for serving our Country my friend; greatly appreciated
Going to the VA for TRT treatment is sort of like going to Toys R Us to by a Porsche...not likely going to happen.
Hormone Replacement for men is somewhat complex and there are many many variables that need to be evaluated and diagnosed before a successful protocol can be formulated that will restore your health and well being and get you to where you want to be.
From my experience, most VA's won't get this (why just a shot of Test and nothing else)...hell I've seen Sloan Kettering fvck it up in men...kid you not!
Come over to the HRT forum and read the stickies at the top of the forum as this will help educate you and provide you with a better understanding. And while the guys here are great, read some of the posts in the HRT forum and you will see that you are not alone and there are a number of us in there that can help you.
You deserve to feel and look better my friend.
