    knot in my right glut

I pinned my right glut almost 2 weeks ago. While I was pinning I started to cramp,I'm sure the pin moved a little. It was bruised pretty bad with a nice size knot,no heat in it and it has went down some but it is still there. Anyone else had this before?

Sounds like trauma induced swelling. If it has shown improvement then just keep an eye on it!

yep its happened to me many times! make sure you go deep enough and use clean new pins. try not to move and keep most of your weight on the other leg it should go away after a few days. Do not go back into that area for a while pin next to it or spot hit somewere else for a while, you dont want to infect that area. hope this helped

Thanks I'm not going to pin in it till it's completely better and I always use new pins. I've just never had a knot for 2 weeks but it has went down.

Do not massage the injection site...this can icrease trauma to the muscle.

Warming gear is a waste of time and will not do anything....it's a myth!!!!!
