    Blood in needle?

Hey guys, had a question. I injected my left thigh today, and like a dummy forgot to aspirate . Anyway, after I pushed all the test in, I noticed some blood in the tip of the needle. Not alot, like three drops. Just wondering if this is normal, has it happened to you? Of course the only time I forget to aspirate haha.
No irregular pain or bleeding or swelling or anything.
    Thanks guys!

If you had injected into a blood vessel you'd know it pretty darn quick. You'll be just fine; probably nicked a vessel on the way in. Remember to aspirate next time

Have had this happen many times, usually upon release of plunger or drawing the needle out, as mentioned above if you injected into a vein you will know about it, it's a horrible experience

That's what I'm wondering. I didn't pull back on the plunger at any time. I always keep pressure on it even when removing it. Weird eh!
