    slingshot thoughts/guidelines

i've been researching a few people's slingshot methods and my questions are: 8 weeks on, 2 off, 8 on? or 8 on, 4 off, 8 on? also i've read both 8 week cycles are both mass cycles... why couldn't you do a mass cycle, with dbol and test/npp or just test and the second 8 do a cutting cycle with tren a, test p, var? i know that nor's are not good at lenghts over 10/12 weeks but with the break in between would the nor's be bad on the body if you had 4 weeks in between? any ideas or people who have tried slingshot methods? all methods i've read had a pretty detailed diet and training regiment with it, just didn't know if anyone tried it... i'm thinking the roland way might be sweet (you can find if you search "slingshot" in search)

i'm down to hear anyone's input!

    thanks

While the Slingshot Method outlined in Ronnie's regime is designed for continuous steroid use (I'm sure we'll all agree that a 2 week PCT, mentioned as an option therein, is pointless), I've found the training and nutritional aspect of the Slingshot to be very beneficial when I've come off of a cycle. Although I'm 36 now, I don't particularly romanticize about the notion of needing HRT, so I don't follow the anabolic guidelines. But to answer your question, I see no reason why your cycle after the first deload would somehow be ineffective as a cutting cycle, despite the fact that the Slingshot is designed for (we hope) unending gains in lean mass. You would simply need to adjust your diet accordingly.

Yes the 2 week deload phase is simply bridging and not enough time to allow full testicular function to occue through PCT even though a few find the desire to use HCG during that period.

Theres no reason why you couldnt run an 8 week mass cycle followed by a cutting cycle with a two week break or bridge in between. If you read a good deal of Ronnies thread then you saw that he also recommended roughly 20 week cycles for some people. as BBrian said While the Slingshot Method outlined in Ronnie's regime is designed for continuous steroid . It does not soundlike that is your plan though. So why take this approach?? Get yout pct together beforehand.
I am not looking for an answer, just trying to get you to think about the pro's and cons.
