Muscular Flexibility: The Hard Look and Superficial Fascia of our Muscle

When someone achieves a muscular hard look does this affect one's flexibility (or is the look simply a function of bodyfat)? I'm asking because I do ballet/gymnastics and retaining flexibility will be crucial when I'm on cycle. Food for thought, when my legs are tight and overworked my quads feel hard, like the muscle feels like a rock. I usually break out the foam roller when this happens and perform some myofascial release.

Which leads me to the next question? Would I need to foam roll or stretch more frequently when I'm on cycle? Do the compounds do anything to superficial fascia of our muscle?

    What?

The more muscle you build the less flexible you will be in certain areas. Just like fat, "more" interferes with flexibility.

    I bet you do Nancy...

HA!! Just kidding!! I couldn't resist!! Seriously, in my experience, the hardness I get from Anavar /Masteron does give me cramps on occasion but it doesn't affect my flexiblity so that I can tell.

do the cramps come while doing Cardio, heavy singles, isometric contractions?

What's all this foam roller talk? Just got get a good massage and call it good. Much easier and more fun. My buddy had the right idea. He lives in Philippines and has a massage student come over to the house ever other day to give him a good massage. $10 or less including tip.
