    Vitamin b5 on cycle!

Hey guys and gals! Hope everyone is doing well and making continued progress towards their goals- I know I am

I've recently been introduced to the idea that vitamin b5 while on cycle will reduce acne breakouts similar to accutane without the nasty (if they really are nasty) side effects.

What I gather is that b5 regulates oil producing glands and while a standard dose of b5 may have no benefit, increasing consumption to 4 times daily will down-regulate oil production such as sebum oil, thus reducing acne breakouts.

This would be phenomenal for myself who gets pretty uncomfortable on cycle with back and arm acne. I say "would be" because I have no experience or knowledge to back this up. If anyone does, can you please shed some lite on the topic. I would be very appreciative and I'm sure other would be too!

Yes, it works. But you're better off supplementing Zinc for acne. A combination wouldnt hurt either.

    Don't touch B5 if you're hemophilic.

Could you recommend a combination of zinc and b5 dosage for me to begin

    Thinking 2g b5 and 50g zinc

50 zinc is perfect. B5 at 2g is good but you can also work your way up from that dose. I don't see a need to go beyond 5 grams. Tons of benefit from Zinc, too. Go here and scroll down to Zinc.

I had the worst acne outbreak in my life from my first cycle of test only all over my chest, back and shoulders, read up on b5 and started it soon after and i noticed a big difference it really helped clear it, i still have the deep purple markings from the spots but they are fading now. I also run it through my last cycle of test, dbol and nothing but a couple of pimple on my shoulders i plan on running it a good few weeks past pct hopefully everything should be settled down by then also for what it costs its worth trying much better than going down the accutane route imo

Glad to hear it's improving Combat dry skin with L-Cysteine or NAC and extra Fishoil.

It's a 5 year old thread, look at date.

B5 is useless on hormonal acne, which is the kind of acne you get from steroids .
