Bloodwork and TRT @ 25?!?! Low Free Test: 8.23

Just got my pre-cycle blood work done from the doctor's and he said things are excellent but I have "low" test. LOL. My levels are:

    TSH: 2.620
    Total: 558.4 ng/dL
    Free Test: 8.23 pg/ml

Oh man wtf is this about. I have so many questions; I wish I had more test. And if we are going by by some lab standards that have total test as 1000 for the high normal end, can I be considered low test??

It makes sense in a way. I was feeling depressed. hard to keep an erection during sex (I would psych myself out), find sex a little boring after ****ing a girl once. Maybe it was the over-training of this year...Could I have shut me down or is this my normal level? Ugh. surely will need more tests in the future. Is my SHBG to high? Is my LH too low? I wish I had a clearer picture. Not all is bad though, my cholesterol levels are insanely good. Go figure - HDL and Test are inversely related:

    HDL: 66
HDL as % of total Cholesterol: 42

this will take a hit when I am on var surely

Also, my kidneys are super efficient? I take 5g of Creatine daily and it shows that I have low Creatinine?? (.81mg/dL)

One last thing, been dosing 100mcg Ipamorelin and modGRF(1-29) 3x day for the last 5 days. No sides whatsoever. But my mood is better, i am less of a depressive, i don't fear death (like, I would think about dying and how short life is wayy to much after my over-trained season ended), my erections dont psych themselves into floppage...I feel like I have a purpose.

Does this mean my test levels are rising? does igf-1 play a role in mood?

ah - so many questions. been reading this study:Testosterone dose-response relationships in healthy young men

Lastly, whats so bad about putting your body close to the high end "normal" testosterone if our bodies werent born in that range?

    Total test 950
    Free Test 32

    Whats so bad about that?

    Alright guys, thanks for reading...

What are the ranges that make you think that's low?

558 is not low it is normal. You have chosen to call it low, it is average. Being TRT the feeling of well being is not 950. Most guys find between 500 and 750 to be a sweet spot.
Also your levels may still be suppressed from prior compounds 8-12 weeks after pct things may normalize and take even longer for some.

You need more complete BW to properly assess things. LH, FSH, Prolactin, cortisol, shbg and a full thyroid panel, etc. Anything over 2 for a tsh should be further evaluated. A more modern range for TSH is .3 - 3.0. Visit the hrt forum and look at the BW in the Finding a Doc Sticky.

I have never done a cycle. I was getting blood work prior to my 1st cycle

    Will do Kel - Thanks!

What can we speculate from high TSH?
