Help me decide!
So I've never done a short 4 week burst style cycle and have decided to try one. And I'm not using very high doses either as I want to observe what happens and make a daily log entry for my records. I'll be using test only so there's no question about which compound did what. So here are the two scenarios I can do;
Day 1-28 Test suspension 100 mg/day
or
Day 1 Test E 1000mg
Day 4 Test E 750mg
Day 8,12,16,20,24 Test E 500mg
Goal is as much size as possible, as any fat accumulation won't be that great considering the duration. Also planning on priming first with a Marcus style prime for 30 days before first pin, then upping the calories to 5500 for the duration of the run. Thoughts? I don't have prop on hand so please don't refer to it. lol.

Not a fan of short cycles or at least a 4 week cycle. But yeah why the 1000mg Day 1!?
500mg and 1000mg of Test E it's the same ester! Your not gonna notice much until weeks 4-5. It would be a waste for only a 4 week cycle.

Due to the extreme short nature of the cycle, I wanted an extreme frontload as per Marcus style burst cycles. I'm a newbie to this short cycling approach, and a ton of guys rave about them so I'm going to give it a try. Typically longer cycles seem to drag on for me, energy wise, eating wise and a general sense of unhealthiness. I'm hoping some of these issues would be avoided by burst cycling.

I've never tried short cycles either but the logic and science are sound. I think I may try this too. Please let us know how it goes.

The best case scenario, you gain 1 lb of muscle. Short cycles don't work.

Ok, guys I've decided on a 28 day blast with suspension. Now I need some direction as to dosages. Some say the dosages used on these types of cycles are "shocking" but due to the short duration, are OK. Goal is to add as much mass as possible. Going to be eating 2000 cal/day above maintenance requirements. Any suggestions? I'm not opposed to adding an oral as well...

100 mg/ml. Was planning on 100 mg/day but I'm wondering if this is on the low side of normal for a blast? Also, I'm doing an 8 week "prime" Marcus style right before.

Short cycles work or they do for me there is no question they are far better for gains, sides, recovery and maintenance. They fall perfectly into HIT training and they produce remarkable gains if you prime correctly beforehand and use the right compounds and dosages. But you have to know how to plan them correctly just picking a high dose out of the air isn't the way forward there is a lot of thought and planning which is needed first. You have to look at what's the highest dose you have ran before? what were the results? what compounds did you run? what were the sides like? How did you recover?
Also eating 2k worth of cals over maintenance is going to make you gain fat, coming out of a prime is a tricky time for some. Some guys need to slowly introduce carbs to the system because they bloat and carry water weight, others are fine with increasing cals straight from the start, this is something you need to look back on to see how you respond and if you have never primed before or CC then I wouldn't suggest running 2ks worth of cals over maintenance first time around.
If your doing short heavy burst cycle they need to be planned properly, what's normal for me or someone else is probably not normal for you, they are worked off your cycle history not someone else has done. Example if a guy has never been over 500mgs per week of test then 750-1000mg would be very heavy were if a guy normally uses 1000mgs per week it wouldn't. You have to look at previous compounds, previous results, previous dosages and plan accordingly.
Also the pre-cycle prime is the most important part of the cycle, its done very slowly over weeks if you read my primning thread it will give you a better understanding on how you implement one
