blood work tips
Hi, I am getting blood work done tomorrow morning and it is very important and I want it to be accurate..they are testing everything...previous blood work shows test in the low 300's...I was wondering if there is anything I should make sure I do/eat today to make sure all tests are accurate...it is a fasting blood test.
Also, I have been taking wellbutrin for 2 weeks, will that have any affect on the results pertaining to testosterone ? I noticed the medication has increased my sex drive.

What did you complain of that they put you on Wellbutrin?~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

While on arime stage 5 pct I became severely emotionless and depressed....they were quick to prescribe me wellbutrin, I didnt take it for over a month even though they gave it to me, but I needed some relief so 2 weeks ago I decided to give it a shot...it hasnt really done anything except up my sex drive.

I know, thats why I didnt take it at first and laughed in their face when they prescribed it without really knowing anything..the problem clearly is having test in the low 300's, once I get my test up I guarentee Ill be back to normal. Ive been on the lowest possible dose for 2 weeks Im just gonna stop taking it, there is no way to wean off it since its the lowest dose. You really cant trust doctors words, if I had, I would have believed them when they said my test levels arent a problem and to just see psychiatry/behavioral medicine.

I saw a specialist and got blood work done, and my total T levels went from low 300s to mid 600s... but I do not feel any better...I feel exactly how I felt when it was 300...total T was pretty low at 85 on a scale of 46-225....I was prescribed Clomid, 50 mg, because LH was low at 2, which is where it was last time. My doctor thinks estrogen or something acting as estrogen is stopping normal production, and isnt surprised I feel poorly at 600, being 22.. He thinks clomid should help raise LH. Although my estraidol test came in at 6 (<29 being normal). He thinks that test is unreliable and you could do the same test 10 times and get 10 very different results. With me having a history of gyno, He thinks it could be high, or a chemical is acting as estrogen in my brain.
Anyone think its odd that I feel the same in the 600s as I did in the 300s?

Kelkel, I just checked that out, and I was tested for all of those things and more...everything was good, except my doc still thinks free T is low in the 80's, and being 22, mid 600s is still low...could it be a false result test? I was in the 300s from april and may, and then 2 weeks later Im in the 600s, feeling no different?
