I hear you but that clearly isn't working for you, by your own admission. You don't need to do ALOT of volume but you do need to work all areas with some intensity.

Get on youtube and look for Dorian Yates Blood and Guts trainer, there are 5 x 10 minute videos I think. View them and start incorporating some of this HIT style into your training. If you train with a partner the forced and negatives are easy. If you train alone you will need to incorporate drop sets and/or rest pause.

Have a nosey through this too

More on week ends .. Today
    Curls
    Bench
    Pushups
    Lats
    Pull ups
My routine is spoty at times due to exhaustion
That's why I'm interested in supplementing to increase gains and stamina

Well, no amount of AAS will make up for lack of correct and a 'spotty' routine. Any gains you make would be temporary and disappear as soon as you stop a cycle.

I appreciate you have a physically demanding job. It's why I am referring you to HIT training. It's brutal when done right but it's short and intense.

dbol it is the worst AAS IMO, it just makes you bloat up and then you pee it all out. It is the worst choice for strenuous work also. Test only for first cycle.... You need to get your diet in check first, AAS main factor is how it synthesizes protein.

Yes it makes your body process more protein into muscle... Protein synthesis.

Eat more good food and less bad. Diet is king and the biggest factor in gaining or cutting. Post your diet in the nutrition section and let the experts critique it. Good luck!
