Rest days while on a cycle?

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion. Are rest days necessary while on a cycle or is the body anabolic enough to repair overnight? I have no opinion one way or another, just curious.

Rest is always needed. If it is not you are not working hard enough.

I just took 3 days off in a row then killed my legs last night. I felt like I needed some rest, so I took it. The energy I had doing legs after 3 days off was awesome. Listen to your body. Youre not thing to lose a pound of muscle if you take a few days off. You'll usually feel rejuvenated and you will actually grow. Honestly, I see so much about regimented daily life as if bodybuilding depends on a strict schedule or you'll fail. Yes, it is important if youre running up to a contest but if you aren't competing against others where 1 striation may mean the difference between 1st and 3rd place, slow down and let your body tell you what it needs.

With regular training and a good diet year round you will make progress. Sometimes I get busy and can only go to the gym proper once or twice per week. The rest of the days I improvise with a few dumbbells and bodyweight at home or just go with it at the time and turn it into a light training, heavy rest period.

Simple Simon... Fuel the body eating, break it down by workout, fuel the body for repair while resting it. If you take anything out you will not be growing as per say. It is just that simple, OP. Rest....God rested, Ha! ...crazy mike

You need rest on or off of cycle.
