Blasting and Food
I am already running 180 MG per week of Test C and going to do a blast of 400 (can do 500) for 10-12 weeks with AI and HCG (500IU X2). My current macros are 50% protein, 25% carbs and 25% fat and I run about 3,500-4,000 calories per day. This rate is, I believe, abut 500 calories above maintenance. When I am blasting how much should I plan on increasing calories, on average.
When you guys are on cycle, how much do you increase your food and do you change your macros?
Any advice is appreciated.
Yes, I spend a lot of time at the Nutrition forum before asking here.

I don't get your question. Are you saying your maintenance is 3500? Or is that 500 over? And what's the 3500-4000 range? Which one is it? Big difference there.

When bulking I try to bump my cals 1000 over maintenance but that's hard and a lot of food, 500 is minimum.

According to my livingstrong app, where I keep up with my food intake, it ranges from 3,500-4,200, I computed an average for the last month and it is 3,928 per day. I gave the range because it varies from day to day. Sorry for the ambiguity. I do believe this rate is 500 over maintenance. I have put on approx. 20 lbs on the last year at this range and my bodyfat has only increased slightly.

This is how I bulk. Not really that much sugar, the app sees karbolyn and glycofuse as sugar.

That sounds like too much protein.

I'll be 230 by end of September. May not be at 10% bf, but won't be fat. Eating pretty clean now. Rice, potatoes, ground beef, chicken, steak, broccoli, eggs, and 3 cheat meals a week while bulking. Time to grow

Okay, I am planning to bump by 1,000 calories per day when I start my first blast with a heavier concentration on protein, Protein 60%, Carbs 20% and Fat 20%.
How do you guy feel about following the blast (12 weeks at 400-450 mg Test C per week) with anavar oral 75 mg per day for about 5-6 weeks?

Honestly, I find it hard to believe that 4,000 calories is maintainence. And the fact you'd go to 5000 a day on cycle? I couldn't possibly keep up with that

wow, some of you guys are using ALOT of cals and protein for maintanence. I couldn't imagine why anyone would eat 587g of protein. Your body probably cant even digest that much. I see alot of protein in urine, upset stomachs, and reduced kidney function with that. 4k cals is a lot of food and 5k is a ton of clean food. Now if we're talking Mcdonalds it's different.
Are you really eating that much chicken breasts/fish fillets/rice/potatoes? Would be np with 3 #3's and large milkshakes. Everyones different but for me its hard to eat 2.5k clean cals on a tight schedule just maintaining. On the gear id bump it up 1k. just my opinion.

For someone with an ectomorphic body type, a high metabolism is not unusual. One sign for me that I needed more calories was that I am getting stronger but not putting on weight. I can tell you it is a PITA eating so much.
Not hard to get 5,000. For breakfast today, 16 oz skim milk and three scoops ON protein, A bagel with two eggs and two pieces of canadian bacon, 996 calories.
